The Villa
Well presented, tastefully furnished one bedroom villa set in a tranquil location. Amenities include an open plan living area with fully fitted kitchen with the full range of cooking utensils and a ceiling fan; two bedrooms with fully fitted wardrobes and air-conditioning, one double bedroom with 2 single beds which can be arranged as one queen size bed and a bathroom with toilet and walk in shower. The villa also boasts a private veranda with outside seating; cable TV and CD/DVD/home cinema system, wireless internet and phone. A mobile wireless internet dongle for those requiring internet on the go can be rented and topped up locally as required.
There is also a shared laundry room, with washing machine that is available for guests' use free of charge as well as free twice weekly cleaning services that include a thorough clean of the villa and bed linen and bath towel changes.
Setting
The villa is one of three and shares a spacious garden, swimming pool with loungers, large gazebo with outdoor dining sets. Guests can enjoy the outdoor facilities at Affinity, take a swim or relax by the pool; play in the garden or simply take the heat off in the shade of our large gazebo that can also be used as an outside dining area.
Location
The villa in the ideal location to experience the tranquility of Caribbean living whilst being able to easily access the whole island by car or bus. It is accessible by car or bus from the airport, the journey takes less than 15 minutes. The tranquil location is 3 minutes’ walk to the main road which is a busy bus route taking you across the island and the property is within 5 minutes of a quiet beach. There are several local services within 5 minutes walking distance of the property including an English pub, doctor's office with pharmacy, bars, restaurants and a min-mart. A further distance away though within walking distance are the busier areas of Oistins and St Lawrence gap with supermarket, bustling night life, multiple restaurants, banks and beaches.
Smoking is no longer permissible in indoor public spaces in Barbados. Please smoke on the veranda, gazebo or garden.

Summary: We had a fantastic months stay in the one bedroom apartment and would have happily stayed even longer.All the staff were brilliant, especially Julie, who was so friendly and helpful. Rick kept the pool immaculately clean and the gardener made sure the lawns and hedges were maintained. We also met the owners who were keen to make sure they provided the best facilties possible and have plans to further improve the properties.Having a pool, outside our door was absolute bliss. Summary: We were very fortunate to stay at Affinity Villas in Barbados for 2 wonderful months. We had lovely neighbors and Angela who manages the villas was so friendly and helpful nothing was ever to much trouble. She really cared that we were happy and had a good stay. Krystal and Tracy who keep the villas clean and tidy do a brilliant job and went above and beyond to make our stay very special. Doug the pool man did a great job keeping the pool clean and always had time for a chat. Communication with the owner was very good and everything from booking to checkout went very smoothly. Thank you all for an amazing time.

Summary: Wonderful villa with everything needed for a self catering holiday. Thank you Maxine. We've been travelling to Barbados for many years but this is our first time staying on the south coast. Affinity villas are located a short walk to bus stops, Oistins fish Fry and st Lawrence gap. We cooked a full Christmas lunch and ate it under the gazebo along with a few dips in the pool to cool off. Angela the property manager was just a text away if any issues. We befriended a gorgeous kitten during our stay who was a delight to have around and we've just heard news that she has now been rescued by the next occupants and is flying to UK very soon! Tracey and her daughter's kept the villa spotless, however I did have an issue with how she treat the tiny kitten. That being said, we had an amazing Christmas and New year break in a lovely peaceful location and a wonderful cozy villa. I recommend care hire as we do every time we visit Barbados, there are so many beautiful places to visit.

Summary: Overall the villa was nice and comfortable, everything you need for a 12 day holiday. The pool was a bonus as well as the gazebo. The area is very convenient to Oistins and The Gap. Car parking spaces are provided which made it easy to park the hire car. Angela and Tracey were very pleasant to deal with and provided any information required. My only grumbles were there was no real comfortable seating within Villa 2, the one bedroom, the pool was un-useable for a part of my stay due to cleaning but the issue was soon sorted out. My major concern was noise as my husband and I required a quiet holiday / villa and after being assured by Maxine that there were no children booked during our stay, we were surprised to find in the second week a family of 5 moving in next door with 3 young children who were in the pool from 5.30 am most morning which woke both occupants of Villa 1 & 2. Having spoken to the family, having found they had booked their stay in November and I had booked mine in February, I was most displeased!! Overall the Villa is a lovely place to stay... if your not woken at 5.30 am every morning by children playing in the pool.

Summary: My stay at Affinity was execelent, found every thing I needed to make it a home from home, very clean all due to Tracy the house keeper who came twice a week, she gave good advice about the island and nothing was too much for her.Angela the property manager gave a tour of the property and explained how things worked, she was always at the end of the phone if needed. I would recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing time total privicy, you are left alone to enjoy your holiday.My husband and myself will definitely be staying there again close to the beaches and oistins which I would advise to visit especially on Friday nights. Summary: Overall we had a great stay in this one bedroom apartment. For the most part the kitchen was well stocked. Could do with a couple of bowls for making salad. The bathroom is quite small but certainly adequate although the tiny corner sink took some getting used to. The bed was comfortable and with a ceiling fan we didn't need to use the AC overnight as we cooled the bedroom off before we went to bed. The pool was wonderful and having the gazebo was a bonus. Always a shady place to sit and usually a nice breeze. Really our only complaint was the lack of comfortable seating in the living room. Thank goodness the chairs on the gazebo were good to sit on. Angela, the property manager was very easy to work with and took care of any needs we had (like replacing a lost key at 10:30 in the evening!) Thanks Angela! Maxine, the owner is very prompt in returning emails and very easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend this property.

Summary: I was very apprehensive about booking this property because we had always stayed in an Hotel before, and never booked accommodation and Flight separate so wondered if everything would be as described. But I neednt have worried. It was pure relief when we finally arrived even though we did struggle to actually find it in the first place. It was a 5 minute walk to the main road and we absolutely loved the pool being right outside our front door. I had spoken to Maxine beforehand and found her very friendly and helpful as was Tracy the cleaner who came in a couple of times a week.I dont go on Holiday to cook so had always intended eating out but with all the amenities being available I soon roped my Husband into dealing with it. We were very lucky I reckon with having nice people staying either side of us which made it for me. But I can recommend this or either side of the Villas to anybody who wants to be more in control of there stay in Barbados.We have never stayed anywhere in the world were the local Transport is so cheap whether you are going just down the road or several miles away.
