Welcome to our “Fun Beach House with Pool!”
Our home is both fun and peaceful for an unforgettable family and friends get-away. Come enjoy our double decks where you can BBQ, relax and enjoy the pool. Our house is located on the canal and across the street from the beach. From our upper deck, come watch the sunsets and stargaze at night.
Our two-story home is set up with two separate living quarters with separate entrances. Upstairs has a large open kitchen and living space with two bedrooms, two full baths and a sleeping loft with two twin mattresses. Our downstairs comes with an open kitchen and living space with two bedrooms and one full bathroom. The entire house can be used as a four-bedroom house for large families or two separate living areas for larger groups.
Bring your beach gear with you, so you can take a stroll across the street to the endless beaches of Alligator Point. Public beach access is across the street on Alligator Point Drive to the left of the house. Pick up shells, make sandcastles, watch the seagulls, and see the dolphins around sunset. Or you can fish right off the beach! Join our family tradition: Grab a drink at sunset, walk down to the beach and see the bright pink sky over the water as the sun disappears over the horizon.
Whether you are coming here to chill, fish, or play, our “Fun Beach House” is cheery and comfy with a variety of spots to play games, read a book, or take a splash in the pool. Both of our eat-in open kitchens with breakfast bars (down and upstairs) are equipped with basic kitchen needs to cook family meals. We also have two grills, one charcoal and the other gas. We either bring fish straight from our fishing excursions or from our favorite fresh fish store “My Way” in Panacea to grill and eat either outside or in! Both upstairs or down has flat screen TVs with cable, in case you can’t miss a game. And the house is equipped with wifi. Summary: This house could use some TLC. There were some hiccups along the way. But the owner was easy to communicate with. Be willing to put work into the pool as it is hard to keep clean due to the blooms of the palm trees. We made the best of it and had a great time.?

Summary: We fell in love with this part of Florida. The house is perfectly located to the beach with an easy walk. We were able to bring our dogs and they were welcomed on the beach at all times of the day.

Summary: Upon arrival, Hurricane Sally reared her ugly head. We got a day and a half to enjoy the beach and pool with our pups, but torrential rains soon followed. Philip is an incredibly gracious and responsive host. He ensured our comfort and safety during the days we were there and worked with us on a partial refund when we decided it was best to leave a few days early. We enjoyed the short time we had and would definitely go back. We were so thankful for the opportunity to bring our dogs along on this trip and felt the home adequately met our needs.

Summary: Couple small issues (electrical) that we had to figure out and a little upkeep would go a long way but overall we really enjoyed our stay. We had a great time spending the evenings grilling while enjoying the pool and decks.

Summary: The listed was not accurate as far as how many people it can sleep as two twin beds in loft are NOT accessible safely due to an unsafe ladder. No outlets in kitchen that work. Leaking ceiling thru light fixture on first floor bedroom. Kitchen not stocked properly for cooking and grill was unusable so we had to purchase a grill. Stoves on both levels do not work properly. And found mouse droppings in bedroom and cabinets.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay. Location/home was exactly as described. Ran in to some electrical problems our first night but it wasnt anything that made us leave. It could've been cleaner upon our arrival. There were bugs in the windows. Trash scattered all over the front yard. (The birds were getting in the bags) The large deck was perfect for watching the kids swim. The beach was a fast walk away from the house! The beach is beautiful and very private. Not crowded at all which is exactly what we were looking for. The Tiki Hut Oasis on the island is a MUST!!! All in all if you're looking for a decently priced soundside home away from it all...this is perfect for you!
