Summary: Enjoyed Redfish again. Excellent location for our activities. Check-in process delayed by emergency in housekeeper's family. Owner offered rebate if we cleaned it ourselves- we declined and went elsewhere for several hours, after we put perishables in fridge. Next morning found housekeeper had decided on her own to put our container of fresh oysters in freezer ! That was very disappointing. Redfish needs a clear set of instructions re: electronic security locks, TV, and other devices.

Summary: This place fits our style very well which is slow-paced and outdoor-based. We fished, hiked, bird-watched, walked the public beach and just relaxed. If you are interested in the typical Spring Break scene, then this is not your place.

Summary: Fishing trip in Big Bend region. Wanted something back to nature anchored by some charter fishing for a big birthday. Great place to decompress from South Florida. We were there soon after Helene, but things were pretty normal. Joe was extremely communicative and informative.

Summary: What a great stay. Unfortunately the hurricane ran us off early but the time we were there was fantastic. Joe the owner is a stand up guy. We will be back. Love the location and privacy. Good fishing and wildlife. Incredible updates to the house. Everything we wanted.

Summary: We had a great time. Even caught a redfish off the dock. Saw rays, blue crab, alligators, bears and an allbino squirrell. My only issue was the standing water in the back yard that you had to walk through to get to the dock. Maybe it was due to the storm that passed a few days before, but if it is permanent, I would suggest putting something there to make it easier to go to the great dock. Thank you for everything!

Summary: If you like the outdoors, and being secluded this is the place! Very nice house and a very fun place to stay. If you like to fish I myself caught 4 slot reds, a massive probably 45” red, and quite a few trout and a triple tail off the dock! Me and my wife enjoyed the place and Joe is a grate host if you have any kind of problem at all he’s on it immediately! I will be back shortly!!
