Positive: Super spacious property with really cool amenities (like the corvette). It belongs to a former race driver that raced the car till he was 80. Fitted with everything that was needed and surrounded by nature still. Every evening we came back home we would have a deer on the porch

Negative: Beds could be improved - were not The most comfortable or sizeable bit this seemed to be a common theme across Japan

Summary: Brilliant stay, very helpful and informative hosts. Would recommend for families

Positive: I was expecting a bit remote but cozy place and the place met my expectation. Well-organized place for perfect family time with plenty of space and lights!

Summary: Yamanaka-ko area with mobility was way better than kawaguchi-ko area. This place is awesome.

Positive: Yoshi san was such a kind, patient and attentive host. The cottage and his pride, the Shelby Mustang in full display next to the dining room, are testament of his achievements and passion. The cottage being a cottage, is perfect in its imperfections - rustic but comforting with the familiar sense of homeliness. The kitchen was well equipped with the necessaries, good heating, efficient laundry and drying area, ample beds, a couple of modern aspects e.g. bluetooth music, sensor operated taps added an interesting twist :) Seeing the deer wandering in the neighboring field was quite the icing on top of the cake.

Negative: Shoes were allowed in the house, which was a little hard for us to wrap our heads around, being in Japan. But slippers of course, were also provided and we used these instead.

Positive: The most beautiful property I've ever stayed in. Truly gorgeous architecture, build quality, comfort, and hospitality. The absolute highlight of my trip. I would come back to Japan just to stay at this property again. Felt like home. Or what home could be.

Negative: Absolutely nothing.

Positive: The owner Yoshi welcomed us with open arms. We loved interacting with him and listen to his stories. We liked the wood stove, which can be used as an open fire. Plenty of wood to keep it going. The Corvette in the room made it very special. Especially for us as car enthusiasts.

Negative: Beds were a bit on the narrow side. Some areas, e.g. bath room, showed signs of aging and could use an upgrade.

Summary: Special stay at a spacious place near good trails for hikes and stunning views on Mt Fuji

Positive: Lovely peaceful hideaway close to restaurants and 7/11. The host was very informative on how to use appliances Check in/out was easy. Bbq available but i didnt use it as planned. House was clean and plenty of towels cutlery and utensils. The corvette was a great surprise for the boys in our group😊
