Positive: The owners were very nice and helpful. Good location, 5 minutes walk from the lake and grocery store. Very clean house. Close to the bus stations. I can fully recommend it, we had a great time. Thank you so much again to the owners

Positive: First, about the owners: my rental broke down just as I reached the property. They helped me by calling the rental company, then the insurance company, then the tow truck company. I don't speak a word of Japanese and I couldn't get this done without them. That lead me to trying to find a way back. They spent 7 to 8 hours helping me find my route! It's a complicated route that I had (going to kyoto) and they walked me through all of it. They are savvy, know bus routes, and will lend you a hand if need be. Now the property: amazing!! Next to the lake, plenty of parking, clean throughout, cloae to moint fuji. Heated floors were amazing (especially in winte)r. Common areas are functional, and they provide everything you need to make it feel like home. They showed us how to prepare our market bought meals (market is just around the corner). The house is absolutely beautiful. Chances are, you will meet like minded, mature travellers like we did. This was not a frat house. Guests were mature, from all around the world, and I had a great time conversating with the few small groups I came across. The hosts stayed up with us, we all had drinks in the common area, and had good conversation. 10 out of 10, I would recommend it again. I don't usually write lengthy reviews but this review is easily, we'll deserved.

Positive: It was a warm cosy house ,very quiet only a short walk to the lake. The hosts were very friendly and had translation devices to help us communicate. The town was great. do the bike ride around the lake it is not difficult. It took us 3.5 hours going slowly stopping lots for photos and lunch.

Negative: It was a great walking distance to the main part of Yamanakako. They charged us extra for the towels not explained before we got there. The only available stuff in the dining room were glasses, cups and saucers, teaspoons and chopsticks.

Summary: For international travellers without your own transportation, the location and facilities unsuitable
