Positive: The view of mount fuji is superb from the house and rooms. There is a big field for children to play is amazing. The in-house onsen facilities is fascinating. The electronic devices are very advanced. Big TV screen at ground floor. Dishwasher at the dining area. Oven, microwave all good and branded appliances.
Negative: There is oily smell in the living room or ground floor of the house. It seems like cleaning is not thorough. The room blankets are dated and lighting is not enough. The beds at upper deck of the rooms unable to enjoy the air-conditioning even though it is on; need to on the wall fan yet the wind is not able to reach the sleepers on the upper deck. The pillow and blankets should change to a new set for hygiene purpose. Toilets in each rooms are small. Lucky we only stay for one night.
Summary: Affordable for the Mt Fuji View Homestay (but quite dated and need some refurbished)

Positive: The location of Silver Spray was breath taking. A real home away from home with the addition of a magical view. The house was BIG and spacious, extremely comfortable with enough beds for our group of 10. Each individual room had a bathroom and toilet which made it very convenient for everyone's privacy and being able to get ready each morning. The kitchen & dining area was amazing and made our time extremely social when it came to cooking and eating. The Onsen shower room was such an added bonus and was used daily by most of us to relax each day, with Mt Fuji to look at. What more could you need! THE VIEW was like a picture postcard everyday, breath taking, magical and we didn't want to leave. Having the huge backyard was great for games and the hosts set up our BBQ for an amazing evening outside. The hosts and family running Silver Spray were so friendly, helpful and communication was easy. We will definitely return to Silver Spray again as we love this region and knowing now how great this home is, I wouldn't even look anywhere else to stay. A big thankyou to our hosts who made this a special time for our group.
Negative: Everything was perfect and I can't understand why anyone would give any negative review about Silver Spray. This house is amazing.
