Summary: e had an outstanding stay at Pelicanos. We are a family of 10 people and this house was more than enough space to fit us comfortably. The gated community where the villa is located is very beautiful and so well kept, the quiet streets are full of greenery, hundreds of palm trees and bougainvilleas, we even grabbed some mangoes from one of the fruit trees. The community has a private beach and club house within a short distance from the villa for the exclusive use of guests and no access is granted to the general public, it is peaceful, clean and offers an olympic size swimming pool, lounge chairs and cabanas. The staff of the house, especially Vicky did an outstanding job of making us feel so welcome, she cooked delicious meals, always attentive to our needs and never stopped smiling, we all wanted to bring her back with us!, we decided to give Vicky a break for a couple of nights, went out to dinner, food was good but never compared to the homemade food she prepared for us. A big thank you to Nelly the rental manager, she is professional and knowledgeable, she followed our itinerary from start to finish coordinating all the details of our stay, we followed many of her advises, especially hiring a private tour guide/driver, Freddy made our first visit to Manzanillo very interesting, he even turned out to be an excellent golf player, I can honestly say that this trip was the best, we have been to many countries and we came to the conclusion that Mexico is always the winner, I can go on and on, thank you so much to the owners of the villa for allowing us to enjoy such a beautiful place and wonderful service.

Summary: We were extremely pleased with our recent stay at Villa Pelicanos in La Punta Manzanillo. Freddy picked-us up from the airport right on time and as we stepped into the villa we were speechless, we were greeted by Vicky, she welcomed us with some delicious hors d’oeuvres, the rest of the week was nothing more than perfect, we were spoiled by the staff, they were very accommodating to our needs and wants, we spent a lot of time poolside enjoying cold beer and margaritas, the weather was wonderful. I am ashamed to say that we barely left the villa, except for a souvenir shopping trip at the local market and a round of golf at the most amazing golf course called “El Tamarindo” We spent a day at the local private beach located inside the community, very clean and quiet, we also played tennis which is included in your stay with advanced reservation. A couple of our friends were concerned about safety but quickly forgot and they are already talking about going back for the Christmas Holidays. Thank you Nelly for helping us arrange such a wonderful vacation!!

Summary: This Villa is amazing! It is actually better in person than the pictures. The views are incredible, especially at sunset. The villa is well maintained and offers plenty of privacy and space for larger groups. Vicky, the housekeeper and chef, made us feel welcome and provided for our every need. Her meals were beautifully prepared with love. All the villa staff was friendly. La Punta is a breathtaking gated community that is safe. Lots a great walking in the neighborhood. Nelly at Mexican Resorts was extremely helpful with the booking, with some needed translation at the beginning of our stay and any other information we needed while we were there. We will definitely be returning, hopefully sooner than later!! Dean and Traci

Summary: Paul Tomlinson: Villa Pellicanos, March 6 to 12, 2017. Villa Pellicanos provided our family (eight adults and six children all under the age of six years) a place for an intimate family get-together involving three generations. This was a highly anticipated event for us all. The villa and our stay was everything we hoped for. The physical setting—sleeping arrangements, main living areas, swimming pool, furnishings—provided a pleasant and comfortable place to be. The staff (Vicky and Guadalupe) were beyond our expectations. They provided us with three amazing, carefully prepared, well-balanced and interesting meals each day. We loved their 'naturalness', how they were themselves and how understanding they were with the children. It also helped that part of our family is Mexican. This facilitated meal planning and relaxed interactions between the staff and all members of our group. Thanks also to Nelly Arvizu–our friendly Internet-based contact. It was a pleasure doing business with you, although we'll have to stop meeting like this. The location is spectacular. The villa provides a panoramic view of two bays with lots of interesting boat traffic to maintain our interest. As we looked out from the villa, the sun rose on our left and set on our right. There was even a full moon on the last evening. The only drawback for us was the isolated nature of the location. It was a fair distance from the villa to the beach and to Manzanillo itself. The area is quite hilly and not good for strolling. However, it did lead to us feeling safe and secure. All things considered, we had a fabulous family get together. We recommend Villa Pellicanos for others seeking a safe, luxurious holiday setting. What is presented on the HomeAway site is what we experienced on the ground.
