The Creek House is a retro-rustic getaway with luxury lodge touches and plush amenities (including free wifi and Roku TV) – all in an ultra-private creekside setting. This peaceful, fully equipped house features design with a mountain cabin feel that takes you back to a simpler time. Plus, you’re close to all the MANY attractions the area has to offer. In fall and winter, enjoy the sounds of a warm, crackling fire and the creek rushing outside your window, and toast friends and family in style, comfort and serenity. In spring and summer, fish from your wooden bridge, have dinner on the back rock patio and sit in the cedar hot tub. It's creekside and under the stars! (We are now trying to keep the CEDAR HOT TUB operational during Late Fall/Winter season -- although we cannot never 100% guarantee it's use. It's new but can be temperamental.)

Summary: Our quick weekend away was more than just a trip - we were creating memories with our senior dog whom we’ve had since a pup. It was always a desire to take him away on vacation with us, but as days/months/years flew by, that never happened. So when he turned 13 we created a bucket list to celebrate the joy he has brought to us all these years. Searching for a home away from home needed to meet our standards- scenic property, woodland atmosphere, quiet surroundings, cozy indoor space and a hot tub (for the humans). This home HAD IT ALL!!!! We pulled up to outdoor patio lighting lining our path, walked in to 30’s jazz music playing thru the retro speaker, battery powered candles flickering cozy lighting and the most colorful art and decor! We felt like we were back to a simpler time and felt compelled to push our technology aside to fully enjoy the space. This home is in a perfect location- 35 minutes away from Bushkill Falls and 3 minutes away from Mountainview Vineyard (highly reccomend both). But if you want to just stay out, Big Al’s Cabin will make you feel right at home. We can not wait to visit again and are so grateful for the memories created with our senior pup!

Summary: We had an amazing time. Everything about this cabin is perfect. From the retro appliances, to the cedar hot tub, to the beautiful creek and trail. The decor made it feel so special. We loved it so much and hope to visit again some day.

Summary: Overall, the property was great. The only negative was the cabin was difficult too get warm. The front room didn't have any heat, and the front door was very poorly sealed. All and all a very great experience, and stay.

Summary: My husband and I were hoping for a relaxing couple of days away after crazy holidays with our 3 small kids, and this place did not disappoint. The hot tub worked great and was very relaxing, we also loved the cozy fireplace. The place was extremely clean and very welcoming. We had a great time, and even faced the cold to take a walk in the woods, and WOW, beautiful and peaceful doesn't even hit the mark, as much as we wanted to take a break from the kids, we couldn't help but realize they would have a blast there as well. We'll most likely be trying to bring the kids with us in the summer for a longer stay, it looks like there is a lot to do around the area as well.
