Positive: The unit was warm, cozy, and exceptionally well-equipped. The pantry and fridge was stocked with tea, coffee, fresh milk and other staples which made it feel very welcoming. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing stay. Megan was a thoughtful and responsive host which made our experience even better.
Negative: Honestly, nothing major. Our stay was fantastic. The only unfortunate part was that we accidentally cracked a small glass table top on checkout, but even then Megan was understanding and very kind.
Summary: A peaceful, well-equipped and cozy stay with a wonderful host, we’d happily return!

Positive: The Owner has thought of everything. The place is so welcoming. Images do not portray the feeling of being at home. You don't need anything other than your clothes and specific food. Your home away from home has all the spices and oils you could need to cook and genuine thoughtful touches like jams and mustards, water and milk, washing needs etc The Owner also kindly contacted me before hand to help me navigate the easiest stairway for my 76+ father, who negotiated with ease. This home is a reflection of someone who grew up on the jetty, knows her home town and what makes a great stay You'll find a true relaxing getaway at this place and I look forward to booking Golden Sands on Henley Beach again. Thanks so much!

Positive: I have stayed here before. It is homely and has everything you need for a longer stay. Full kitchen and bathroom with a bath and shower and washing machine. Great location, close to Henley Beach and great cafes and restaurants.

Positive: Location was amazing. So close to the beach and secluded and quiet. Tasteful decorated and super homely. Chocolate surprises were a bonus.
Negative: I found both mattress a bit soft. But my partner didn’t she loved them. So guess that comes down to personal preference.
