This luxurious vacation rental is your deluxe home away from home, allowing you to take a break to enjoy the surrounding beauty of the waterfront of British Columbia.

Located in a desirable neighbourhood, this tastefully appointed home offers the quiet ambience of nearby Pat Bay beach while in close proximity of Victoria International Airport, Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal, Sidney, Butchart Gardens and only a short drive to downtown Victoria.

Awake to coffee in a beautifully decorated living area the great room, which is anchored by a hand-crafted rustic rock fireplace and features vaulted ceilings, hardwood and tile floors and a wall of windows. Extensive wood detailing creates a warm west coast style lodge-feel.

Be sure to take a short stroll to the beach where you can observe our local wildlife the Great Blue Heron, Pacific Harbour Seals, and majestic Pacific Bald Eagles.

The main floor of this spacious home offers 1500 sq ft of open floor plan and offers 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed and cozy bedding, a full bathroom, laundry facilities, a casual gourmet kitchen, large dining room and great room. Step through the doors to enjoy an outdoor BBQ where seating for 12 is provided on south west facing expansive deck and a patio area.

The master bedroom is located on the top floor, has a private en suite bathroom with shower and offers a queen bed with plush bedding. Please note the AC is only in the upper level master bedroom.

Summary: Our family had a great time living in this property. It had all the appliances we needed and everything was very clean. The location is great as well, very safe and close to Sidney. Highly recommended!

Summary: Our family of 6 stayed at Heron’s Landing for 5 nights in July. It was a great base for our Vancouver Island holiday. The property is in a quiet street a couple of blocks back from the shore about 15 min drive from the ferry terminal and 5km from Sidney. The nearby beach is ok for a walk but not suited for swimming or relaxing with rocks, poor water quality and weed/algae. You can walk to Sidney by following the bike path around the airport but it isn’t very pretty and we usually drove. The property is very pleasant, clean and spacious and we all felt very comfortable. Most nights we ate at the property either inside on the large dining table or outside on the nice rear balcony. We did meet the couple living downstairs and they were very friendly and pleasant. We would consider Herons Landing for a stay again but would prefer it was located a shorter walking distance to shops/cafes and that the nearby beach was better.

Summary: This is a really nice property in a great location. Description was accurate. Place was clean and provided great amenities.The only downside are the relative long distance to the nearest town and commerce.We recommend the place and would stay there again.

Summary: Heron's Landing is a lovely place to stay for an extended period of time. It was very comfortable and cosy, extremely clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well stocked with everything for preparing meals and there is a wide variety of glassware and serving dishes to choose from. The home is located in a lovely neighbourhood, only a block from the beach. EMR was very responsive to any queries we might have. We would definitely return to Heron's Landing at some point in the future.Frank and Joan
