7/5/2025 There is a new home being built on the lot next door.
This lovely home that is only one block off the beach will be your new favorite place to vacation. This home is so spacious, and welcoming, bring the whole family to celebrate milestones, enjoy a beach getaway, or any other reason you can think of to come to south Alabama! The main floor has a large kitchen, and great living space with a sleeper sofa. There are 3 king size beds within large rooms, with amazing views. You will take a few steps to the first floor, and enter the kitchen and dining area with amazing views. There are 2 master bedrooms on this first floor that have king beds in each, and boast of large newly renovated walk in showers. When you climb the stairs to the second floor, there is a spacious second common/living area for a little separate space if needed. This space has a sleeper sofa, and tv. Three bedrooms open off this living space.

Summary: Our friends & family group stayed for the weekend for a cheer competition at the Orange Beach Wharf. We were excited for all the bedrooms and so many king-sized beds. The only negative was the mattresses. For two nights we were good, but any longer would have been an issue for me in particular. Everything else was wonderful. Beautiful location, quick 30 minute drive to the Wharf. Very clear instructions for everything. Thanks for keeping such clear communication. We truly appreciate it. Hopefully, we will get to come back again next year!

Summary: 3 generations thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carousel. It truly felt like a home with bonus spaces to get away from others when needed. Will definitely try to stay here again in the future.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was very spacious and beautiful but there were some things that weren’t so good. The bedroom on the first floor closet to the stairs would not get cooler than 76-77 degrees with the thermostat set at 70-72, verified by maintenance inspection of HVAC and no change. The up stairs bedroom with bunk beds had dirty sheets which we washed upon arrival.Also we mopped the floor downstairs with swifter wet sheets which were black when we removed them( we had babies crawling around and their knees were black before we mopped!We appreciated Sunset trying to help with the AC problem, and our family still very much enjoyed our stay. Convenient beach access and loved the remote location. We would consider booking again. Thank you so much.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always come back to Morgantown. Access to the beach is easy and the beach is not crowded. This was our first stay at this property. It was very roomy. There is an upstair apartment that seemed a little odd at first but functioned well for us and might be nice for some situations. My only negative is the tennis courts. The development as a whole needs to have the courts redone. Completely resurfaced- not repaired. We attempted to play pickleball but the court surface has some weird underlayment and sucks the life out of the bounce. If you are a "real" tennis player- you will likely be disappointed.

Summary: Our family of 11 ranging from 6 years and up enjoyed this space tremendously. We had the perfect amount of space for us all to gather for meals and even enough space to have alone time. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with many appliances and then some. The walk to the beach was short for it not being directly on the beach. Definitely will be booking this house again!

Summary: Great place to stay for our family. Would stay here again. One small piece of feedback: I think you should add some more hand rail to the stairs from the garage area to the first living level. We had two 70 year olds that could have really used that. There is something to hold on to, but that's only for like half of the stairs.
