The "Acqua" house is an elegant three-room apartment which is well inspired by the external context with its blue walls that are almost "enveloped" by the blue frame of the sea in front. It is located on the Ionian coast not far from the center of Acireale, a splendid town on the slopes of Etna, halfway between the city of Catania and the famous tourist center of Taormina.
The house is of a decidedly above average level with complete equipment in every need and a keen eye both for elegance and functionality.
It has a balcony, with a breathtaking view, furnished and so large as to allow you to sunbathe, have lunch or simply take a nap at the same time.

Summary: My wife, her sister and I stayed in the apartment for 10 days. It's located in a quiet part of the village of Stazzo (30 minutes from Catania) in a private area. Well equipped with air conditioning and washing machine. But the main point was the terrace with a 180 degree view of sea. Amazing and wonderful. Of course, the beach is made of lava stone but there are lots of wooden pontoons where you can sunbathe and where from you can go swimming easily. Furthermore, Paolo and his wife are very discrete but always ready to help you. They even offered us some still hot delicious arancini. Small supermarket, butcher, bar (blue bar for breakfast, granita and pastries), one restaurant (la Conchiglia) are from 5 to 15 minutes walk. So, I warmly recommend this place. Summary: It’s a very quiet area, house has everything you need if you want to cook, we like to cook ,but when in Italy you should experience the tastes of italy. There’s plenty of fresh seafood. You need a car to explore but you can walk to a couple good restaurants. The owners Rosella and Paolo are very helpful and live in the lower apartment. This is a beach community but it was relatively quiet at this time in September. I would highly recommend going here . The house was Very clean ,neat and they had some wine ,water, and some fresh fruit for us ,upon our arrival. It was a great time being there .the picture shown is just a glimpse of what there is to view, sit back with that bottle of wine and relax.

Summary: Paolo and Rosella were extremely helpful in tolerating our arrival and arranging for our departure. We had intended to rent a car, but decided not to do so. Without much Italian and a car, we still found this apartment to be perfect for our week in late October. Acireale is accessible by bus from the apartment, and we had a great day there. Stazzo itself is small and we were at the end of the tourist season--a fine place to walk and relax by the sea. Don't miss the Blue Bar; we spent a good bit of time there meeting people and just hanging out. Minimarkets are close and you will have no problem finding the food you want. The weather turned stormy later in the week, and this apartment is perfect for watching the sea from the balcony. It is well stocked, comfortable and offers lots of light and breezes if you like them. It is a fine place for a home base to travel to Etna or for just relaxing with a camera and the sea. I had a slight problem with the internet, but Paolo directed me in fixing it in no time. They were a tremendous help, and the apartment is more than you can see in the pictures. We will stay here again when we go to the Ionian coast. Thanks for all your help.

Summary: Incredible views: the sun rising over the sea to one side and Etna and sunset to the back. Very comfortable apartment with all the amenities but we spent most of the time we were in there on the balcony watching the sea. Lava rocks and beach a few metres away and access to a pebble beach not too far off. Stazzo and the surrounding towns are picturesque and great to walk around and explore. Paolo and his family are so welcoming and it was a pleasure to run into them to and from the apartment. Very kind people and willing to help with anything. I can't recommend this place enough!
