Summary: Beautiful, tasteful and welcoming as soon as we arrived. Greeted with a “welcome neck massage” in the lobby! The staff could not have been nicer throughout our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable and stocked well. The pool and beach were clean and the service was amazing… Gustavo was our favorite…. So friendly and great at his job! Food was very good…. Had such an amazing meal at Frida (Mexican Restaurant) that we went back the next evening! Diego was an amazing waiter! Our concierge, Maria, was very helpful and accessible. Loved the koi ponds! Enjoyed feeding the fish! Overall a perfect vacation. Been wanting to stay at Grand Velas and if met and exceeded expectations! Will definitely return!

Summary: The hotel provides excellent conceiage service and food from all restaurants are great. However this is a smaller and more dated hotel compare to the one by the east coast Cancun area.
