Summary: We visited Charlevoix, Petoskey and mackinaw island and this was a good central base. If we had towed up a boat or jet ski it would have been a great spot to enjoy Burt lake

Summary: What a secret gem! I almost want to keep this secret to myself!! Gerrie’s cabin was PERFECT! Lake views and easy access to the docks. There are wonderful hiking trails in the area that are super close. The property has about 6 cabins and they are nicely placed for privacy. It was quiet, relaxing, comfortable, and oh so cozy!! Make sure you load up necessities before getting to Brutus in either Mackinac City or even Petoskey. Brutus has no markets or gas stations that were open. Thanks again, Gerrie!!!!

Summary: Amazing weekend, would definitely come back to it and next time come back for a week. This is place to be and very quiet and beautiful and if you looking for amazing time and peaceful places to be in northern Michigan this is the place to be. Thanks again and see you guys soon

Summary: Cabin was small, but worked for us. Luckily weather was great or it would have been cramped. We were coming from Harbor Springs and used it as a place to get a little closer to Mackinac. We had 4 adults and 4 kids- there was a playground and sand box 10 feet away from Cabin , which was amazing. . No towels, linens, TP, or WiFi - didn’t realize that until after booked (I didn’t read fine print closely enough). Overall, it was fine. Good for the price.

Summary: Small but very adequate bedrooms, updates to kitchen and bath. Lovely living area with sliders to deck facing West Burt Lake. Very quiet in early October!

Summary: Our family enjoyed our stay! It took a little navigating where to park, but once we settled it we enjoyed it. Because it is in an association there were a lot of rules. We wished we could have had a campfire but respected the rules. The boat ramp at the association was very convenient for getting the boat in the water. The boat lift with cover was great addition as we didn’t have to take the boat in and out of the water. Gerrie was very sweet and helpful when we had questions.
