Summary: This is a wonderful property for a quick getaway or extended stay. The room was very cozy with modern and stylish decor. The galley type kitchen was well appointed. We spent time in Portsmouth. After our busy days it was a quiet comfortable place to come back to. There is a little cafe right next door with a wonderful breakfast. Doug was easy to work with and although we did not need him, we felt that he was always available. This was a relaxing worry free weekend and if given the opportunity, we would rent again!!

Summary: This was an absolutely amazing stay. The neighborhood is very quiet and right next to the ocean. You can walk to the beach and lighthouse. The apartment is very cute and the sound machine was top notch. Amazing water pressure. The only negative was that the coffee pot was dirty. But aside from that I will recommend to anyone and will definitely stay here again.

Summary: What a beautiful space! My family and I have been visiting Portsmouth/New Castle since I was born, and this was our first trip solo. The Great Island Inn was beautifully appointed and was exactly what we needed on a chilly-yet-beautiful weekend. No detail was spared, from the excellent toiletries to the comfortable bed. The staff were incredibly communicative, and check in/out was a total breeze! We are very much looking forward to visiting again in the near future.
