Positive: The location is very convenient.
Negative: The male staffs are not so helpful especially Joe the night staff is very unfriendly, anything you check with him the answer is no and in slow motion. I asked if can borrow a penknife from him, he said no, we don’t have, but there is one in the pen holder on the table.
Summary: The hardware is okay but the male employees spoiled everything.

Positive: The room was spacious and clean, with plenty of storage and counter space to unpack and get comfortable (including nightstands with charging outlets on both sides of the bed). Bathroom facilities were also fantastic including great lighting and a bidet toilet. We were able to store our bicycles in the room without any issues. All of the hotel staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Bonus was also having access to a coin-operated washer and dryer with detergent provided.
Negative: The rooms are not soundproof. We were aware of this already from previous reviews, and I was a little concerned as a light sleeper. Thankfully, it's on a fairly quiet street. We could hear people arriving to their room across the hall but no sounds once they were in their room.

Positive: - spacious room with sunlight - toilet seat has wash function (not every hotel in Taipei has this) - comfy bed and pillows - location may seem a bit off-central Taipei but we’re ok as it’s only 8-10 mins walk from Shilin MRT
