Positive: The cottage has plenty of room and is in a quiet location. The kitchen was well stocked (except for pepper and salt). There were extra bathroom sachets for make up removal. And there was a laundry with washing machine supplies (though no dryer)

Negative: There were cracked windows on one side of the house....making me wary of the safety of the surroundings. We did not get access till after 3.30. It was not walking distance to town.

Summary: Good value accomodation a little too far from town.

Negative: The house according to older reviews has been under renovation for several years. The front screen door cannot be opened from the inside due to a broken handle and the window in the master bedroom is cracked and requires a block of wood to remain open. Besides the renovated bathroom the property is very worn, tired but clean. The owner was prompt in replying to any concerns.

Positive: This is a quaint little home in a quiet street. Still in the process of renovation but comfortable. Awesome tea and coffee selection including fresh coffee and milk in the fridge. Well equipped kitchen. The bathroom had a good array of toiletries, whilst the laundry has detergent, washing basket and pegs provided, the last step was missing out of the laundry door so used the front door to get to the washing line. Lovely cottage gardens, if a bit overgrown. For the time being don't expect too much, it is an old fibro home and is being renovated. Great family accommodation with rabbits in the yard too. The Gordon River Cruise experience and restaurants are a 20 min walk.

Negative: The bed was way too hard for us. I fear during winter the house would be really cold. There is one reverse AC unit in the lounge room. The verandah table was very rusty which came off when my jacket touched it.
