Positive: Strahan Wilderness Lodge was easy to get to if you have a vehicle. The shared dining room area and kitchen has a lovely view of the water and Strahan across the bay. The Wilderness Lodge was clean and furnished well. it ws a quiet and comfortable place to stay. The couple running it are friendly and helpful.

Positive: It was a fantastic lodge. The location was unbelievable...looking out over the bay. What a beautiful view. It made it all the better as we had two glorious sunny days. The hosts,Desma and John,were friendly and welcoming. The amenities were first class. We would definitely stay there again.

Positive: Everyone goes to Strahan for the fast boat up the rainforest, it was all booked out so we stayed and had a quiet stay in Stahan which we loved. It was like going home to stay at your parents, a beautiful place with a wonderful atmosphere and a view to die for. We loved it and the wonderful people who run it and clearly love it too. A great place to haul up and rest - it is really loved and has a wonderful garden . I was so happy we missed the mass tourist boat and had a day around the bay and at the lovely wilderness lodge which felt like a home from home
