Summary: Pros: dog friendly, beautiful garden, property had everything we needed to make meals and was very close to a supermarket, really good location, very tidy. Simple process to get in using key box, and communication was good. Cons: this is so big it has to be mentioned, and is the reason the rating is 3* overall, not a 4 or 5. Although we loved the house and location, the beds are absolutely awful. My husband and I are normal weight, and sitting on the bed, it felt and sounded like the mattress was going to break. Lying on the bed, you can feel the springs poking through all over the bed. So while it was a great place during the day, sleeping was almost impossible because of the bed. So three nights with no sleep made for not a great experience. I would recommend that the owners try it out for a night so they can experience what their guests do.
