Summary: Happy Harry's Hideaway was the perfect spot for a getaway with the family. The cabin is very clean and well stocked. We took the pontoon boat out for a day and had a great time on the Maui Mat. Overall, highly recommend.

Summary: We enjoyed spending time in such a quiet and beautiful place. The cabin was perfect for hanging out. My sisters and I brought my Mom up for a break from her Assisted Living facility and she was very pleased with the comfort of the cabin too!

Summary: We had a wonderful family vacation at Harry's Hideaway. The house was clean and well stocked with kitchen gadgets, cookware, towels, and toys/games. Beautiful view of the lake, it was very quiet and peaceful on weekdays. The only downside was that it's on the shallower end of the lake, so there are weeds in late summer, but the profile pictures show this accurately. I highly recommend this lake house (and the optional pontoon rental) for families with young children.

Summary: Rent this cabin right now! It was exactly what we were looking for and so much more. I stayed with my Husband, our 2 babies (2 and 4 months) my Mom and Brother. They literally thought of everything. We found the beds to be super comfy and the cabin itself was/is super clean. The cabin is very well stocked with basically anything you could think of. We will be staying here again. Will be my first choice whenever I need a close to home get away. One suggestion, we were staying when there was a tornado watch in the area. And it would have been nice to know weather related things specially when the TV goes out. Maybe have a weather radio or an emergency kit of some kind that have flash lights or something. We didn't think to bring any. We were ready to use the closets if needed for shelter. But we had no idea if we'd hear sirens or anything like that. The only thing I was disappointed with was the fact that the weeds were terrible in the lake. Not like the pictures showed. HOWEVER I know this is only due to the drought we've been in and the inability to have the weed machines run due to the lake being low. Obviously not something that can be controlled. We had a great time regardless.

Summary: The 5 of us have been friends for almost 40 years. We needed a get-away and this was the perfect place for us. Cabin is clean and grounds are very nice. I would recommend this place. Two suggestions - 1) Include property owners emergency number in the guest book. Wasn't easy to get in touch with Jason. 2) Add emergency numbers (electrical contact, Police, Hospital, etc.) to the Guest book.

Summary: This was a great cabin for a quiet getaway for our family of five. Our son enjoyed fishing off the dock. Was nice to have the kayaks there as the water in the lake was unusually low. Would recommend

Summary: This is a well stocked spacious cabin. Short drive from the cities. The water is shallow right now, but didn’t stop us from getting in the water. Long chats outside on the dock or on the covered deck. Loons singing all day. Loved the yard games and fire pit. I was not disappointed at all. I hope to be back in the future.
