Summary: This two up, two down apartment was a great place to stay. We used it as a base from which to explore Whangarei and the area. That said, it was also wonderful to watch the rugby on the TV here, rather than the bustle of a bar in town. We were fortunate to encounter that Property Manager for a chat about the history of the environs, which was fascinating, even after reading the wall posters in the dining-room. The Continental Breakfast provided on our first morning was much appreciated.

Summary: Absolutely beautiful location with the beach just a hop, skip and a jump away from the Loft. All the beds were so comfortable with nice bed linen. Super cleanliness throughout with nice amenities. Our hosts were very nice and friendly. Nice private courtyard with pretty trees. Slept 6 adults easily with room to spare for 2 more. We would stay again. Loved it!

Summary: Unusual dwelling, fantastic host. Very comfortable, clean and convenient. Good for couples or small family. No cooking facilities except microwave- but good restaurants not too far away.
