5 Bedroom House in Onerahi

This property is the combination of 2 apartments within the same house. Smaller groups rent either Beach Lane or Harbour Lane but with a larger group we can open up the whole house with an internal open stairwell linking the 2. Check out their seperate reviews as this property is only newly listed -late 2020 and has had private corporate bookings.
Large garage and plenty of off street parking including room for a boat.
2 Super King rooms, one with a full ensuite and balcony, 1 Queen Room opening onto a large sunny deck area, 1 room with 2 x King Single beds and another room with a King Single and Trundler bed. The upstairs master bedroom also has a near new Danske Mobler double sofa bed. Sleeps 10 comfortably or 12 if 2 small children wish to share the sofa bed . All beds have quality linen.
The 3 bathrooms are modern and spacious with room to store your toiletries.
Downstairs has a kitchenette with dishwasher and washer dryer, dining table and lounge area with TV/DVD. This all looks out over the harbour and there is a private courtyard off to the side.
Upstairs has huge living spaces all of which look out over the harbour and open onto a deck, the massive lounge has reclining loungers and large TV, the dining area has an extendable table, the kitchen has all you will need and there is a seating area off the kitchen again opening onto a deck.
The property has a Heatpump/Aircon and a DVS system.
There are full laundry facilities both upstairs and downstairs.
The back of the house is decked with a BBQ.
There are kayaks and paddleboards to use on the water right across the road and bikes to explore the area.
Loads of great walking tracks in the area as well as fantastic beaches. Plenty of golf courses around, try a different one each day.
Ideal base for day trips to the Bay of Islands, Far North and Kaipara.
Great Whangarei restaurant "Top Sail" is just a few mins walk along the waterfront and the famous Parua Bay Tavern is about a 12 min drive. Heads Up Adventure Bike Park is 5 mins away as is the local airport.
The property is situated at the beginning of Whangarei Heads and its amazing beaches and walks. Tutukaka Coast is approx 40 mins away for great diving.
An ideal property to host family get togethers and celebrations with a few wedding venues nearby.

Summary: Leeann and Warwick made our family of six feel very welcome and were exceptional hosts. The beachside property meant we got to see leaping fish, passing boats, and golden light across the harbour. The kids were a bit shocked to learn the internet wasn’t as good as they’re used to, but this meant more games and family time, not to mention the kayaks, paddle boards, and bikes. Where else can you easily paddle out to an island? We had driven through Whangarei countless times, but this was the first time we explored this magical part of NZ. We will definitely be back.

Summary: Kia ora Leeann, It was a pleasure to meet you and a special treat to spend six nights in your ātaahua Harbour & Beach lane properties. They were the perfect fit for our little whānau. Leeann is exceptionally gracious, generous, and is definitely "the hostess with the mostest" Leeann went above and beyond in providing great hospitality. Harbour and Beach lane were very well maintained and had everything we needed and some. Leeann and Warwick are premium hosts and it shows when you see all the things around the property that you don't know you need until you think about it :) These properties are in a peaceful and stunning location and our front yard was the ocean. Being able to watch every sunrise from the comfort of my bed and balcony was also pretty special. Leeann was very responsive to all my messages and was extremely accomodating. We sincerely appreciated all that Leeann did to make our short stay wonderful. My father in-law relies on his wheelchair and Harbour lane was perfect. Pa could move around independently and had his own bedroom right next door to ours. Harbour lane has 15 stairs but they are nice and wide. Fortunately our strong iramutu had no problems lifting Pa up and down the stairs as we all gathered together, eating, playing board games, watching tennis and watching the beautiful sunrises. We did day trips to Te Rerenga Wairua, Dargaville, Kai Iwi Lakes, Omanaia, Wainui Bay and Te Tii. We would love to stay again when we are back visiting the Mighty Kaipara

Summary: Leeann was amazing at communicating and super friendly. She made the process super easy and was happy to give advice when needed. House itself was beautiful, had all the amenities needed and more, and amazing equipment to explore the water around the home all just in the garage. We all loved our stay so much and can't wait to visit again. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone looking to have a base to explore Northland.
