Positive: Just a 5 minute drive into Harpers Ferry, this cozy cabin was the perfect place to get away and unwind. I especially liked the kitchen and setup. While it was perfect for my solo stay, this would also be a great spot for families or a group of friends.
Negative: There was a significant difference in price from what was listed on Booking.com and the actual price. That said, it was a great place and I'd love to go back!
Summary: Relaxing stay in a perfectly cozy cabin.

Positive: Clean. Nicely decorated. Nice deck with a grill and hot tub. Nice open side yard with a fire pit and comfortable seating. Quick response from rental company/ owners.
Negative: No central air. Only two upstairs window units which did not cool the downstairs in the least where the entertainment room (with the ONLY tv) was located as well as the only other bedroom. There was no fan available to attempt to pull some of the cool air downstairs and the temperature was in the 90s during our stay. The biggest problem we encountered though was running out of waterโ€ฆthe water tanks were not full on arrival and on day 3 there was no water coming from any source in the house.
Summary: It is a nice home on a mountain but I donโ€™t believe the accommodations match the cost.

Positive: Driving distance to Harpers Ferry was ideal, and inside of the cabin was cozy. We liked deers outside welcoming us.
Negative: Outdoor patio needed to be swept and outdoor furniture wiped. Toilet wasnโ€™t flushing properly. For the price of one night, there should be water and tea included. Text message at 8am from the owner stating โ€œdonโ€™t forget check out is at 10am and take your trashโ€ was unprofessional and the service is not matching the price.
Summary: Overall clean cabin, it was ok but I would expect more for the price.

Positive: Beautiful inside...kitchen had everything needed. Location was great..you felt like you were in nature. We had tons of deer on the property. The host was in constant communication which was helpful.
Negative: Two main things.. the only tv was in the living room which was downstairs. And the steps were really steep. I was the only one who could go down them. Second was the outside sitting areas and getting to the front door. The way into the house was not safe. But once you got to the steps it was fine. All the vegetation was over grown especially near the front and the hot tub. The bench areas just needed a good pressure washing.
