What Our Guests say 500 + Reviews

Nov 1, 2023 12:00:11 PM
Summary: Pros: close proximity to surrounding day-trips. Very clean spaces and the property manager (Vacasa) was responsive to our questions and needs. Bed slept great, roomy closet, lots of seating and lighting in the family room. There is a ton of natural light in the living spaces of the unit. Parking was right next to the entrance. Cons: two things that should be in the listing and are not: 1) there is a full non-carpeted hardwood floor staircase to get to the rental. If you are mobility challenged, this is not a good option. And 2) upon entry, you learn for the first time they want you to remove your shoes. No shoes of any kind are to be worn in the rental. This ‘house rule’ grated on us as the week wore on. The TV is not easily used. It turns on, and if you can login to the apps provided you are good. But there is no standard network television and no instructions provided. No way to access any live sports. Suggestions for the owners: 1) find a way to be able to walk up and down the stairs with shoes on (hint: use the bonus room) 2) install more shelves and hooks in the bathroom (not enough reasonable functional space in that room) and 3) consider investing in some creature comforts like: coffee for the first morning, creamer/sugar packets, fluffier towels, and literature providing info on the area and instructions for things in the unit. Thanks.

Summary: We couldn’t get into the property because the lockbox # we were given was wrong. It took 3 hours for Vacasa to respond by text. Luckily we were able to reach Vacasa by phone. The apartment was tidy but very minimalist. One tiny bar of soap for a 4-night stay was provided. There were no instructions for operating the television, and there were no provisions provided, such as coffee or tea for the first morning. We felt that this place was adequate but not worth the money charged.

Summary: Cozy little apartment-great place to lay our heads after running around. Very well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and pretty clean. Only small downside was a window AC unit, was a bit loud but cooled the space quickly so could be shut off.

Summary: Overall, just right for my parents and me! Comfortable, homey, well-designed space, perfectly situated to visit friends and enjoy Woodstock. My only complaint is that the check out time of 10am is very early and inflexible. I tried to get 20 extra minutes and was politely told no. The cleaning service left some bags of garbage in the entry way, otherwise would've given the cleanliness 5 stars.
