We call it Hidden Lake Paradies as you can forget your worries in this spacious and serene home. Our location is close to the Highway and an easy reach to the city of Greenwood. Comfortable beds and quiet surroundings help you relax and enjoy the lake views and country setting. Our cottage is large and open, decorated in an eclectic style. We are sharing some of our European antiques and heirloom furniture with our guests and invite you to feel like home. We offer a fully equipped kitchen plus a washer and dryer. There is space for up to 6 people, and parking for 3 vehicles. We are pet and family friendly.
This is a clean, very spacious, and comfortable 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, plus a sleeping loft - cottage on the lake; with a full size kitchen to cook and bake; a covered deck, a large screened-in porch perfect for reading and relaxing, a pier and dock for fishing, swimming, and boat docking. Washer & dryer, free parking for 2 -3 cars, WiFi Internet, Flat screen SmartTV, and more.
The master bedroom features a King size tempur-pedic matress in a Low-Country Rice Bed along with European Heirloom Armoire and dresser. A large accessible bathroom is just off the hallway next to main bedroom.
The secondary bedroom has a private on-suite bath and a very comfortable queen size bed.
The upstairs loft has a comfortable queen size futon bed.
The cottage is a great location for family vacation, reunions, or for just relaxing and getting away from the hustle and bustle of work and other responsibilities.
There is dry wood for the fire pit, and kayaks available to take out on the lake.
The main bathroom is spacious with a roll-in shower and a roll-under lower sink. Wide doorways and all one level without any steps, from parking area to deck and patio make our cottage wheelchair accessible.
We are limiting overnight guests to 6 people, unless other arrangements are made prior to arrival.
Activities include fishing, swimming, boating, tubing, kayaking, and water-ski/wake boarding. Guests may use the kayaks provided at no charge. The fire pit by the water invites to romantic evenings by a crackling fire, often with the moon shining across the lake.
Bring your own boat and tie it up at our dock, but your boat trailer needs to be stored at different location (free of charge) bring your own water toys, floaties, fishing gear, etc.
You may rent a boat at the various location around the lake.
Private water ski or wake board lessons behind owner's motor boat available by appointment and at an extra charge.
Minimum 2 or 3 nights rental depending on season.
Cleaning fee of $95 and $125 one time pet fee is charged extra.
The cottage is located on the Hidden Lake part of Lake Greenwood and is part of the main lake. Easy access going back and forth between main and “hidden” lake.

Summary: We loved our stay. Spent most our time on the screened porch. Even ate all our meals out there. We loved the train coming and going across the way. Makes me want to live there. The only drawback was the terrain to get to the water was tough on the old ones. You have everything you need in the kitchen like home and all you need to bring is charcoal for the grill. No complaints about sleeping well. Thank you for sharing your place on the lake!!

Summary: What a gorgeous view and great home away from home for our family and dog while we attended a family wedding. Beds were comfy and check in was easy. It was really nice having a big screened in porch. Thunderstorms rolled in just after arrival and it was beautiful to watch over the lake!

Summary: My wife and I had a great time while visiting the lake! The house exceeded our expectations and was just as the pictures portrayed. We had one slight issue the first night that was quickly addressed and corrected by our host! (Thank you Anna and Rolf!). We would definitely recommend this property and will consider for future visits to the Greenwood area.
