Summary: This rental transported us to visits to grandparents’s…easy to make yourself at home, practical, curios stashed in corners, a little smelly. The checkin process was straightforward. Gerry stopped by to work on something in the garage during our stay.

Summary: We rented Highland Cottage from June through October 2022. It is a lovely spot, nestled on the edge of a forest and on property that houses an amazing 1794 Farmhouse. The cottage is tucked away on a winding country road with views to the foothills of the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Deer seen often and in the fall.....lots of wild turkeys....a peaceful retreat. Located next door to the Lake Country of Maine, the area has abundant access to water for swimming, rafting, canoeing, kayaking, etc. Beautiful hiking trails are abundant. There is quick and easy access to main roads and highways that lead to all the treasures of a New England visit. Bernadette and Gerry are the Best Hosts ever! Attentive and super quick communicators, they are truly gracious hosts. They attend to any need(s) immediately, yet are so respectful of guests' privacy needs. My husband and I really can't give enough accolades to them! Wonderful people....you won't meet better! The place was super clean, neat and welcoming. Enjoy a special visit here! Thank you, Bernadette and Gerry!
