Summary: when I entered the office it took a while to check in and it took me a while to find the air conditioning. once I found it and turned it on the room was much more comfortable. The biggest problem was that I was looking forward to enjoying the BC Lions football game and the tv had no TSN. When I called front desk he had no idea what I was talking about and was no help. (missed the whole game)

Summary: This hotel was perfectly adequate for my brother and I. Granted, there are certainly some travelers that would have considered it dingy. But the rooms were clean, just outdated. The bathrooms were also perfectly clean, with fresh towels and toiletries provided. Also had a nice TV, just, like I said, some people wouldn't like the look of it. But that being said, Manning is an adorable little town, and even if it's not the prettiest motel, it's not like it's in a bad part of town or something, because there is no bad part of town. I gave a 4 out of 5 only because I don't want to be too misleading. If you're looking for indoor doors and something that looks new, look elsewhere. If you want an affordable stop that is perfectly fine, the Hillcrest works great. Friendly owner/manager too!

Summary: This motel would be shut down if an inspector looked at it. Black mold in the bathroom, bird feces on towels, the heater does not work and was informed by management there is a heater in kitchenette. The tiny heater there was a total fire hazard, open wires over the sink, obviously was a home made fix it and not to code and never heated the room at all. There were insects in sink bath tub and toilet.
