Summary: This was our second trip to this property and we never once said, “It was better last time” or, “ We should have tried a new place.” Beth is the best host, bar none.

Summary: Wonderful location, the host was fantastic. Even provided breakfast items for us to enjoy. As well as snacks for the whole time we were there. Plenty of room to have privacy for three couples. The only disappointment was two of the bedrooms televisions would not work. In a way that might be a good thing as it did make us stay closer together. I would highly recommend this place.

Summary: Beth is a host in the truest sense of the word, not just an owner renting her house. She makes her house feel like a home. Interesting furniture and decor. Well stocked pantry, refrigerator and freezer. Her home has everything you could want or need and then some. Out of the ordinary snacks and gourmet breakfast items. Great location.

Summary: Great house for a group of old college friends in their 50s who'd come to town on the heels of a football game. Lots of room. Super clean. Really well outfitted and comfortable furniture. Plenty of room, too, so nobody was on top of anybody else. So nice to have snacks. And great communication with Beth. Thanks for a great stay.

Summary: I would need more than this little box to do Beth justice. But I will say that, in short, the place is welcoming, perfectly decorated, clean, convenient, and feels like a real home. Thank you so much for all of the small touches and communication. I wish you ran these all over the country! A+

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at the Sumac Inn for a multi-generational family vacation! The house is full of character and beautifully decorated, and is well set up for visitors. We found snacks and some staples in the kitchen to get us started and even fresh flowers, which were a wonderful gift. With 4 kids ranging from 3 to 14 years old, there was something for all to enjoy, from the basement setup to the backyard. In terms of location, there were sidewalks for walks around the beautiful neighborhood, attractions like Pike's Peak and Garden of the Gods only about 15 minutes away, and a large assortment of restaurants just a few minutes away. All in all a wonderful experience.

Summary: This house was perfect for a large group of us attending a family reunion. We were amazed at how well-stocked the place was and all the thoughtful touches that were included. The host, Beth, provided fresh flowers, fruit, plentiful snacks, eggs and bacon, oj, milk, yogurt, coffee, chocolates! There were serving dishes and scissors and tape and ziploc bags and plenty of extra pillows and towels, games and books and comfortable chairs - you name it, the house had it. All my communications with Beth were a pleasure! Highly recommend! One small FYI - it's an older house, so light sleepers might want to pack earplugs to guard against the creaky floorboards if you've got people moving around at night. The house also had two small fans that a couple of us used effectively for white noise.
