Positive: Donna and Richard provide a very nice comfortable place to stay close to Bannister's Wharf. But it is just far enough up the road to provide a quiet retreat from the crowds of Newport. Breakfast was perfect, coffee and quiche. It is a good value too, Some other inns on the street are much more expensive. I have seen the normal Newport sites years ago but had to stop for the chowder at the Black Pearl. Richard made a good recommendation for a hike and birding at the Norman Bird Sanctuary next to Newport in Middletown. Then I stopped at Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge. Now if only Flo's Clam Shack had been open for a bowl of clear Rhode Island Chowder ;-)
Summary: Next time through I hope I will be able to stay here again.

Positive: The location cannot be beat. It’s off the beaten path enough to not be rowdy but close enough to walk to all the lovely docks and shopping areas of Newport. Off street parking was also a deciding factor for us.
Negative: There’s wasn’t anything not to like!
Summary: The hostess was so accommodating, the Inn was safe, and pleasantly appointed. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Positive: The property was quaint and perfectly located. Felt like I was staying at my grandmas house. It’s old and the beds are small but location was good and it was well priced.
Negative: There’s nothing we didn’t like per se, but definitely an old grandma vibe with little trinkets everywhere so just know what you’re going into.

Positive: This hospitality extended by Donna and Frank made our visit exceptional. Our room was comfortable, beautifully decorated to have a historic feel while modernized to provide the comforts of being away from home. The location is perfect for walking into town. This was my first time staying at a bed and breakfast, and even my teenager agreed, we will definitely be returning.
