Summary: Property was as explaned...in the process of renovations...it is obvious that the owner has spent time working on this unique old house... Trains are very loud at night...be aware if you are a light sleeper!

Summary: Ivan is great to work with. Read the description, there is significant train noise and no TV. If you're there for a short stay and a heavy sleeper, it's a great jump off place to the local sights. If you're a light sleeper and need a TV at night, you'll need an iPad or laptop to watch it on. Brunswick is a cute town with a great pizza (Kings Pizza) and burger joint (Boxcar Burgers). People are very friendly in Brunswick and we always felt safe.

Summary: Perfect for a long weekend! Quick drive to Harper’s Ferry and hikes, but also walking distance to the C&O trail and several local restaurants. Also cozy if you find yourself staying in for a day. Ivan was a friendly and helpful host. I would definitely recommend - especially to those who like trains (you can definitely hear the trains, but the noise did not bother me or my dog at all).
