Summary: We had an amazing stay at the Stone Cottage. It was close to The Creeper Trail and Abingdon. The house was clean and beautiful.

Summary: Wouldn’t be for everyone but we enjoyed the privacy of this property and plan to return next May. There is no cell phone service but that was not a problem for us. You could say it was high end glamping! The area is outstanding. A very nice touch was that the owner provided dozens of Keurig pods. Nearest grocery 12 miles in Damascus so best to plan ahead and take provisions unless you plan to visit Damascus for bike hiring.

Summary: This was the perfect place to stay for our trip to visit the Creeper Trail. The place was clean and charming and well stocked for making a meal or two. The hosts were very helpful when we couldn’t figure out the key code :)

Summary: The cottage is very up-to-date, clean, and comfortable. It's unique and the conversion from a church building to a modern cottage was done tastefully with very nice kitchen and bathroom amenities. We had a great time enjoying the quiet. Although the weather turned cold, we did the Virginia Creeper (don't miss it - rhodeodenderons peak late June - early July) and Grayson Highlands (really don't miss it!) We had no issues at all and there were plenty of games and entertainment. The local store in Konnarock had all the food and supplies we needed so try that first before going further to get groceries. We were very happy with everything and will stay again.

Summary: We stayed here for a few days to enjoy the Virginia Creeper Trail. It was the perfect place to stay and it was so clean. My kids enjoyed playing outside and the space, which had plenty of movies and a loft sleeping area allowed them to have their own space. It was about a 20 min drive to a Damascus for our bike rental, which was great. We would definitely stay here again. Oh, and my husband must have put in the wrong code to enter and someone was able to help us within minutes. :)

Summary: We were there to hike Grayson Highlands, a little farther then we would have liked but not too bad.Damascus is close by to go grab some food, the grocery store in town had good fresh chicken sandwiches. We had good quality time.

Summary: Wonderful historic stone cottage with a great location to Damascus, Grayson Highlands, and Abington. It is Beautiful, quiet, clean, and has a great porch to enjoy the view while drinking coffee. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom supplies. Very comfortable bed for a great night's sleep. Looking forward to return on future trips!

Summary: The property was definitely off the beaten path, but it was extremely quiet and peaceful. What a quaint little place this cabin is. The cabin was EXTREMELY clean and absolutely beautiful and very tastefully decorated. We use VRBO a lot and are very picky about the places we choose, but I have to say this cabin is BY FAR the cleanest! Extreme kuddos to the cleaning staff and the expectations of the owners. The only thing I would suggest, is to add some cooking spatulas, and more cooking utensils, we fixed breakfast every morning and had to use forks to stir the eggs in the pan as was afraid of scratching the pots/pans. We would definitely stay again at this location!! Highly recommend! Thank you for allowing us to stay!

Summary: Our family had a wonderful stay here!! The house is cozy, charming, clean, and everyone enjoyed staying there. We loved convenience to the trails and surrounding nature. Beautiful scenery whichever direction you go. Easy to get around to the places. Great communication from the management and owners. We could not ask anything better for a relaxing stay!
