Summary: The Trimble House was the perfect setting for our family reunion! What a treat to stay at this historic property. The home has been lovingly restored, is decorated beautifully and was immaculate upon arrival. Communication and check-in was easy, the kitchen is well-stocked with anything you could need and there is plenty of space to spread out and explore, both inside and out. We especially enjoyed having coffee in the rocking chairs on the front porch and gathering by the fire on the back patio. I cannot recommend this property highly enough - it is truly a gem.

Summary: We chose this home to be our wedding venue. Lori put in continuous effort and care to ensure our wedding was extra special. The home was spectacular to use as a venue and our guests were extremely impressed with the decor and the care taken to preserve the historical touches of the home. Lots of time was spent enjoying the fireplace outside by the patio after the ceremony. We enjoyed staying here and the beds are comfortable too.

Summary: Staying at the historic Trimble House was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment I booked, until we actually arrived, Lori was just wonderful to work with. She was very prompt in answering any questions I had. We got there late at night, but the outdoor lights were on and very welcoming. The house itself was set up so well, that we were able to go right to bed. Lori seems to have thought of just about everything a guest needs! The beds and bedrooms are just beautiful and so comfortable! The bathrooms were clean and well stocked, and decorated so pretty. You can tell that a lot of love and thought have gone into this house, it is just beautifully done. We enjoyed the books she set out detailing the history of the house, and the photos of progress on the house. The kitchen is well stocked with things you might need, and there were foodstuffs left over from previous guests that came in handy, especially the first day. Once we got closer to staying, Lori provided a welcome pamphlet through email, that answered all the questions I had, from what's in the area, to how to run the coffee machine and grill. We did use the fire pit a few evenings, which was very relaxing. The house is close to the interstate, but also set far enough away on a lovely wooded lot. My only regret is that we don't visit this area very often, as I would love to stay here again! I was with my 84 year old mom and 3 sisters, all in our 60's. I highly recommend staying here!

Summary: The Trimble House is truly a beautiful property. We stayed here while my daughter and her friend attended the CPYB summer ballet intensive. Our group was three adults and two young teenage girls, and this place really was perfect for our needs. The house has been beautifully restored/maintained, and was very clean and comfortable throughout. The amenities were all first rate: things like the furniture, appliances, grill, bathroom soaps, and even down to the kitchen towels and silverware. All were abundant and of great quality. The kitchen has literally everything you could need, which meant that we were able to cook great meals and even enjoy baking some goodies. The girls loved it, and begged us to come back sometime when they don't have dance classes so they can just spend time at the house. The host was responsive and just the right level of attentive. I really have never stayed in a more perfect rental, and I can't wait to come back.

Summary: The interior of the house was clean and tastefully decorated with a floor plan more comfortable than expected in a vintage home, which included fine details, none the least being, high ceilings and detailed millwork. Being use to more modern amenities such as central air, the home’s lack of central air was a challenge. The window and stand alone units were a bit noisy and did labor when on. Although beautiful, the house did not afford us the comfortability we anticipated.

Summary: Visited for 4th July weekend and the entire process was easy! The property manager was stayed in touch the entire time, the house is in impeccable condition and near many conveniences. The house has a bedroom w/ full bath on main floor which was extremely helpful with an elderly parent. Upstairs were large 3 bedrooms with a shared bath. The host set up the dining table for us, which was very organized. Overall, a great experience with vrbo property, the historically preserved house in making wonderful memories! Will definitely rent again!!

Summary: If you’re a fan of historic homes, this one is gorgeous. We highly recommend this lovely home! It was clean, and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Beds were extremely comfortable. It’s an old home but very warm and inviting with lots of character. Excellent communication from the rental staff - very clear and easy check in and check out information.

Summary: The property was beautiful. It is an older house, but very well maintained. We didn't have a lot of time to explore the grounds, but the it was expensive. Views in the morning were incredible. Would stay again when in the area.
