Positive: Overall, a well maintained efficient apartment. Fairly well located by buses and trams to Zurich HB. Bathroom was a bit tight, but excellent laundry facilities in the basement, which we used. HITrental staff was very responsive to any questions that we had.
Negative: Smallish shower and smallish kitchen, but that’s big city living.
Summary: Efficient and good value for money stay in Zurich.

Positive: We stayed here for two nights and found the apartment to be a spacious and comfortable base for exploring Zurich. The two-bedroom layout was perfect for our family, especially appreciated by our teens. We were also grateful to be allowed to store our bags from 11am, well before the 3pm check-in, which was very convenient. The location is well connected — several tram stops are nearby, with Weidikon just a 4-minute walk away. From there, it’s only five stops to Zurich HB, or a 15-minute walk if you prefer. There’s also a park just opposite with a lovely café that seemed popular with locals. I’m not sure I would choose to stay here again.
Negative: However, we did notice that the far side of the park had some issues with loitering, drunks and substance use, which made it feel a bit less family-friendly. At night, loud music could be heard from outside, but thankfully the apartment has good soundproof windows — once closed, the noise wasn’t a problem The sofa also appeared scruffy and dirty and needs replacing or a cover. The shower was tiny and the body wash was literally just watered down so much it might have just been water!!
