Positive: We are repeat customers at the Holidae House, and it says it all. We've chosen this place as our base for skiing Sunday River, and we've done it for 2 years in a row so far, and plan to do it in the future. The place itself is about 12 minutes drive from the resort. Located on the main street of Bethel, there are at least 3 great restaurants nearby (Sud's Pub being the definite best) and a supermarket right across the street. The rooms are comfortable and very well designed, and have more amenities than we need. The common space is welcoming and makes us want to spend more time in it - the tables in the dining area, the couches and the chairs in the living room area, the constant availability of coffee, tee and other drinks, and of course, the home-baked cookies and fresh fruits replenished daily. The hospitality, friendliness, communication, welcoming, and overall, the highest service level of the hosts - they are all top-notch. And the breakfasts - well, they are the real treat. Freshly made every morning, paired with excellent coffee and fresh juices - yummy! :) Lastly, the small touches that make the experience so good, such as abundant USB chargers in the rooms; board games in the common areas; personal recommendations for activities/food; candies; etc. Our 2nd time, but definitely not the last.

Positive: Jeanette and John are generous and kind hosts. Their B & B is cozy, comfortable and very clean. The bathrooms are immaculate, and the location is perfect. The breakfast is always delicious. We have stayed here three times and have never been disappointed. We highly recommend The Holidae House.

Positive: Breakfast was good, the fan in the room was the best thing! Room and bathroom were nice but small. Hard to get makeup and hair done with a high mirror in the room. The owners were fabulous and so very kind!
Negative: It was too small and not enough bathroom space. Hard to do hair and get ready.
