Positive: We went there for just a few hours to rest before Groundhog Day. The room was good, the bed was comfortable, and everything was clean. The parking lot was spacious. The Indian man at the front desk was very nice, approachable, and resourceful.
Negative: The only issue was the black woman at the front desk, who was rude and didn’t respond to my greeting.

Positive: Bed and pillows were very comfortable. I like that the refrigerator was larger and had a small freezer.
Negative: The cost for overnight stay was ridiculously high. The paper I signed stated $167. and I was given $187.00 from booking but ended up paying $212.00. Breakfast during the week is 6 a.m., but weekends, it was 7 am. We left by 6:25 am for the competition

Positive: The breakfast was wonderful, the gym was nice, the room was comfortable overall and staff was friendly. Location was very good. We were there for a swim invitational at IUP and it was about 5 minutes away. Check in was fast and the water in the shower was nice and hot.
Negative: The pool area was very disappointing. Part of the ceiling was falling in, doors were very rusty and the water was freezing. Room was clean overall although the vent in the bathroom had cobwebs but the common areas were very dirty.
Summary: It was fine, but I doubt we would stay again.

Positive: Close to IUP campus. Bed was comfortable and was able to adjust the temperature in the room to our liking.
Negative: We were placed on the first floor, which is the bottom floor of the hotel. It was very noisy. We were woken up multiple times from banging from above floor. We also must have been below the area they have breakfast since starting at 6am we heard chairs moving above us and a lot of movement that woke us up. I would make sure not to stay on this floor again if we came back. We got to breakfast at 9:15 and it was not much to choose from as it wasn’t replenished. The floor in food area was dirty and sticky and table were not wiped clean or maintained. Juice machine was watered down OJ. The syrup containers were empty and very messy. I know it was busy for the homecoming weekend but maybe they need more staff to keep food area so it’s cleaner and stocked. Bathroom was very small.
Summary: Close to IUP campus for event, comfortable bed but not so great breakfast!

Positive: Hotel was conveniently located and close to family we were visiting. The room was clean and we liked the chaise lounge that came with our room. Staff was friendly. WIFI was easy to set up. We had some issues with breakfast service on one of the mornings, but when the kitchen staff did show up, it was good and hot with a fair amount of options. We loved the pancake maker!
Negative: Smell coming from dresser drawers. They had recently stained the inside of the drawers and it gave off a strong smell. Because of this I could not unpack my cloths in fear of them smelling like stain. Toilet paper roll had only a few sheets on it when we arrived and they didn't have a replacement roll in the room. Inside the closet, the hanger rod was placed 2 feet from the bottom which made it impossible to hang anything. The safe would not lock. The outlet on one side of the bed did not work. The blinds ran by remote, but it appeared the cord and wires got tangled up in the rod which made it inoperable. Not a huge bummer since we were not going to be in the room much, but the TV in the room was not a smart TVs, so we could not cast from our phones to stream anything. They had basic cable with a limited amount of channels. Arriving to breakfast an hour before the end time, they were completely out of everything besides a few muffins. Kitchen staff was late and nobody was there to restock the breakfast items and refill the coffee. In the pool room, one of the pool lights was hanging outside of the pool attached to some wires. This had us questioning the safety of the pool, but we decided to chance taking a dip, and in the end, nobody go electrocuted. Because of the issues we encountered, the rate for this stay, we felt, was over-priced.
Summary: Though the facilities were clean, we encountered some issues. We had a fair stay.
