Positive: Breakfast was really good. Our suite was clean and comfortable and the housekeeper got me a comforter for the sofa bed so I was more comfortable. The staff was super nice and helpful. Definitely a nice stay.
Negative: Nothing.
Summary: It was a very comfortable night's sleep with great service and a hearty breakfast.

Positive: Bedding smelled like it just came out of wash!
Negative: Breakfast was a huge disappointment! Sausage were put out ice cold and biscuits burnt. No hot water for the oatmeal, tea or hot chocolate packets .

Positive: We loved the breakfast. It was hot, still full 30 minutes before "closing" and tasted really good. The rooms were able to get cold cold cold at night and the fan ran (not in a bad way) so it was GREAT white noise and temp control. Truly a great time in the room. Pillows were almost all a variety of "firmness" levels that provided ability to pick what you wanted to sleep on! Free wifi, great cable, plenty of space in the room, and an illuminated mirror in the bathroom! Also, the bathroom design with the "privacy" wall of the toilet is nice. The staff was also friendly! I forgot my sweatshirt and they found it and returned it to me.
Negative: We went to this hotel for a Purdue home football game against Notre Dame. If you looked at the prices for the weekend of hotels IN West Lafayette...you'll know why we ended up where we did, lol! Having said that, the location was a little further than we would have liked. It was truly in the middle of no where with only gas stations and fast food around. Not even a bar! MUCH too far to uber to Purdue to do anything. Further, the shower was S L I P P E R Y - like, so so slippery. I seriously wonder how many people get hurt?! There are no grippers and there NEEDS to be grippers on the floor. Second about the shower: it needs new caulk. There is black caulk on the shelves so it just looks dirty, even though the room and shower are definitely clean. A total aesthetic thing but looks bad. Finally, the pool was closed. Now, you might be wondering why I am complaining about a pool being closed in Southern Indiana in September but LADIES & GENTLEMAN it was over 90 degrees the entire weekend. I am sure the pool is closed based on an IHG corporate policy but I will tell you that the policy should be changed! We are getting so many hotter days into late September in the Midwest that they should seriously revisit the timeframe that it's open.
