Summary: All staff welcoming and helpful, ready to give advice for the hotel and area. Hotel was lovely and clean throughout, with great areas for relaxing and dining. Varied range of food, all freshly cooked during breakfast and dinner service

Summary: The hotel is in a perfect location on the quayside in the harbour, a few minutes' walk from the train/bus station and just across the road from the city wall and centre. Kalmar Castle is about 20 minutes' walk away. On arrival we were given a very friendly and warm welcome at the reception. Breakfast, afternoon fika (Swedish coffee + cake) and buffet dinner are all included for all guests. Our room was charmingly located in the eaves of the hotel, with wooden ceiling beams and lots of character. Overall this hotel must be one of the most convenient and recommendable in Kalmar.

Summary: The view of the harbor is amazing! The Kalmar Packhuset is a delight in every way enjoyed by Swedish and foreign visitors alike. The breakfast, fika, and evening meals were excellent. The hotel is conveniently located near rail station, central Kalmar, and shopping.

Summary: Lovely hotel on the water. Big plus that dinner and breakfast was included. Room had lovely decor and hearing seagulls while drifting off to sleep was lovely. Only downside was that there was active construction at a building across the water that started at 7:30 am. I was up early tho and it was less of an issue than if I had wanted to sleep in.

Summary: Lovely stay! Staff was super friendly, breakfast and dinner were excellent also, all home made and a lot of variety. We were lucky enough to have a room with a seaside view, we really felt like we were on a boat, amazing! I’d highly recommend this place of you ever go to Kalmar!
