Summary: My family and I came in for a wedding. The place was clean, nicely decorated and very roomy. The neighborhood was quiet and near stores if needed. The home is fully stocked. There was, however, a leak in the basement, wasn't sure where it was coming from. We had to keep cleaning it up. Its an older home so it does creek loudly as you walk, but all and all it was a comfortable stay. The owners are responsive and cooperative. I recommend it, you will enjoy the home once that issue in the basement is resolved.

Summary: Cleanliness - This home is not being properly cleaned between guests. The washroom walls have yellow condensation, the tub has a build up of filth, along with the shower curtain. There was someone else’s beard shavings splattered on the wall above the sink. This is not a one time forgetting to clean, it is many months of build up as can be viewed on baseboards. We asked for cleaning supplies before using the washroom. The garbage is not being put out for collection and is piled up in the bin. The creaky floors. Literally once one person wakes up the whole house is awake. The floor is SO loud. I am not exaggerating the house is painfully creaky. The smell- we did not realize this is a pet friendly home as the listing does not state it; which it should! We are not opposed to animals but expect that the home shouldn’t smell of wet dog and need to be aired out. Communication- The communication is confusing. In the check in message I was told to download an app and provide everyone's phone numbers for access. We then had a follow up message to confirm when we would be arriving so the "team is virtually available for check in". We rushed what we were doing so we could check in on time, its just an automatic door lock, no app was needed. Check out instructions were sent the evening before and then two hours later another message sent again to confirm check out time. The host is prompt in responding to any issues, there is no team and this attempt to convey so is off putting.

Summary: My family of 6 and I came to visit relatives in Chicago and booked this place. It was more than enough room for my family. The place was very clean and the area was very quiet and safe. I will definitely be checking to see if this place is available the next time we come back to visit.

Summary: The host of this property definitely deserves the five star rating. We had two issues greet us when we arrived and Blain responded immediately. He continued to stay in touch throughout our stay. There were 7 of us and we had plenty of room. The house is located about 4 minutes from a cute little downtown area with a couple bookstores, coffee shop and some nice restaurants; and the metra- if you want to go into the city. The only downside to this property is that the bedroom with 2 beds is very cold. If you stay during cold weather, extra blankets and warm clothes are a must. Also, I would not put a small child in that room. If we are ever back in the area, I will definitely stay here again.
