Summary: Well what a lovely place to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of rural France. The size and layout of the house was perfect, with a lovely pool right there. Games room if the weather got too much. Every bedroom was en-suite which was great. Lovely big kitchen with everything you could possibly need. TV/DVD (though we never used it) and wifi (if a little slow) which the kids used all the time! The local village had just what you need: bakery (run by a lovely lady from Brighton), supermarket, butcher and pharmacy. We just wanted a place where we could relax and not spend too much time travelling around visiting the local sites - it fitted the bill to perfection! We also had the pleasure of meeting Lydia who is clearly very passionate about the quality of the properties she has on her website. Highly recommended.

Summary: Just a few weeks back home and we would love to go right back to France. We look back with so much pleasure! The first week in La Poujole was fantastic. Beautiful home , quiet area, very large and fenced pool, close to Rocamadour and Sarlat and a place where you can completely unwind. Also our dog really enjoyed the freedom and could not get enough of swimming in the Dordogne River. In the evening we regularly pooled (I do not know if I write it in a right way) and we sat outside to watch the beautiful starry sky. Erik and I were sorry we left after one week to another house. Sabine and her family are very welcoming! Warm greetings and we hope to book again soon! Erik and Marijke
