Positive: Good interaction with owner after and before key collection. House was situated in nice village.
Negative: The cleanliness of the house was very poor, every room had cob webs and spiders, dead flies on window cills, mould within shower cubicles. The pictures online were certainly not reflective of cleanliness. Outside area could also have done with a tidy up. Compared to another property we rented in April for similar money this property was way below the expectations.

Positive: Gorgeous house and incredible to have four generously sized ensuite bathrooms in lovely double rooms. The kitchen in particular and the house generally are stunning. The huge garden is so undersold with no pics, but it's like a tidied, pretty expanse of enclosed countryside. Great location on the edge of a beautiful village with good pubs a few doors away.
Negative: Constant hammering with messages from Host & Stay from booking and throughout our trip. But as soon as the booking ended mine reminding them about urgent repairs for future guests (leaking bathroom ceiling plus broken oven) were automatically rejected. Had to find an alternative email address on the website and then I was dismissed with a yes we already know about the leak (my husband had reported it on the phone the day before) but no acknowledgement on the oven. Also parking at the house itself is very tricky and we opted for a side street nearby instead.

Positive: Fabulous location and property Great having en suite rooms Lovely garden Tastefully decorated
Negative: The house needs a deep clean Windowsills were littered with dead flies Every surface has thick layer of dust Windows filthy Floors need sweeping Many many cobwebs on ceilings in corners etc Toilets all need bleach as brown stained paintworks all needed a wipe kitchen cupboards all needed a wipe Such a shame when paying for a premium property Also neighbours either side quite intrusive

Negative: If I'm paying around £3000 a week for eight birth accomodation, I expect it to have eight wine glasses not five!! Also not enough forks for eight people - really poor when your setting a table for Christmas!!!
