Summary: The stay was very nice, however the room refrigerator froze my prescription medicine. Gave info to front desk and manager was supposed to call, but never did.

Summary: Super cool historic hotel right in the heart of quaint Rapid City. Walkable to shops and great restaurants. Awesome 10th floor lounge and rooftop area for a nice cocktail. Rooms are nicely decorated and very clean.

Summary: The hotel attempts to be cool and modern. In truth, it is old and dilapidated. We had a suite with a shared bathroom between the two bedrooms. One of the two doors to the bedrooms would not close because the door jam has shifted over time. This is just basic maintenance and it is absolutely not a new phenomenon. The place could be cool but it needs a multi-million dollar make-over. The staff were also so tedious. Most were not from SD and it showed. They tried to be so trendy and cool that it ended up being ridiculous.

Summary: Great location in a historical property. “Historical” should be translated as small rooms with no desk and no chair. Refrigerator in our room didn’t work. Bathroom and main door stuck to the point that the main door needed to be shouldered to open it from hallway and heaved open from other side. Our “original” room was not ready for check-in at 4PM so we took first available and it was right next to elevator bank.
