Summary: Service was on point, and so was the localization. However the receptions localization and breakfast is in a building 100m away which wasn’t that big of a issue. The biggest problem we had was that there was a lot of noise from the street outside but also from within the same building, this made our night sleep quite difficult. The bed was not so comfy and there was no hair conditioner available. The tv didn’t work but we didn’t come to watch television in lake como. The place was cleaned everyday. Breakfast was varied and they offered gluten-free alternatives. Overall a bit expensive for what you get.

Summary: Wonderful stay in Varenna. Room was comfortable. Not large but we really only sleep in our room. Did not find the center until our second day. Visited the botanical gardens which are beautiful. Climbed to Castello de Vezio. Challenging walk but worth it in the end. Ferry stop is very close to the hotel. We did take the Varenna Express bus back to Milan since the train tracks are under construction. Well worth the extra money. Straight trip to Milan Centrale. Would like to visit again

Summary: For €329 a night, you get a very basic room. It’s not a hotel. It’s more of an apt. There’s no reception nor concierge downstairs so if you have a question or need something, you will have to walk to a different hotel(before 8pm). The room we had did not have bedside tables, a full size mirror, mini fridge nor a safe. We had just a bed, a very small tv, a small mirror and a basic wardrobe. The location and the view is the only good thing about this place.

Summary: Tree hotel was very close to the train station and very close to the ferry’s. The hotel from the outside was not that nice but overall inside was pretty spacious and clean . The TV didn’t work and the blow dryer was not good at all. Did not like the door locks . Overall though I have to say it was good.

Summary: The hotel is pretty basic but we had room 10, which is very spacious with a large balcony. The hotel is close to train station and the ferry dock, easy walk to town center and attractions. Staff are friendly and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Summary: Friendly front desk host ,easy check in. Rooms were ready before check in time frame ,so they let us in the room early to dropp off the luggages and enjoy the town. Rooms were clean . The breakfast was good and the lady who is taking care the service in the breakfast area was very helpful.

Summary: This hotel is literally less than a 5 minute walk from the train station. This is a sister hotel, so you need to check in at the main hotel which is about a 2 minute walk. This is where there breakfast is served, which was more than adequate to start the day. Our room had a balcony with partial lake view, which was nice in the evening. I would stay here again if back in Varenna.

Summary: The hotel location is very convenient. From Varenna train station, it’s about 1 block. Across the street from the Ferry Terminal and the city center is about 5 minute walk from the Ferry terminal. The hotel is not fancy but very comfortable and super clean. The included breakfast was very good. The breakfast and checkin was at the sister hotel about 5 minute walk. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. Our room even had a partial lake view.
