Summary: It was beautiful and perfect for the price. Water temperatures were a bit off. It would either be scouring hot or cold showers but that was manageable.

Summary: The hotel was good and generally matched the photos shown online. Keep in mind that this is an older property, which is very typical for hotels in Antigua, Guatemala. You can't compare it directly to large international chains like Marriott, Meliá, and others. Because Antigua is a UNESCO World Heritage city, hotels are often limited in the renovations or modern upgrades they can make, in order to preserve the historic charm of the town. Overall, if you're looking for an authentic Antigua experience, this hotel fits the style and atmosphere well.

Summary: The hotel room was fine. Not at all like was shown in the pictures. Mold in the corners of the room. The bathroom window, which opened out on to a corridor wouldn't lock either. The shower was hot or cold and the room lacked basics like a full length mirror or anywhere to hang clothes. The room had a small private terrace (which was overlooked by someone's bathroom). On the final night, loud music was being played from 2am until 3am. The rooms were very clean. Staff were reasonably friendly and service were available like laundry. The courtyards were pretty and well maintained. The hotel is also located very close to the center, which was nice.

Summary: This small hotel has the friendliest staff. Althought the rooms are a bit tired, the staff tries to do everything to keep up the cleanliness. There is no AC but fans work well the water in the old shower was touch n go but if you waited a bit longer it could get scalding. The linens were in desperate need of replacement.
