Summary: Sadly this hotel fell short for us. We had a short stay but on night 1, the room we'd booked with a balcony was unavailable. Hotel admitted they'd made a mistake but there was no other rooms available. We were moved to a new room the next day but it was very noisy and our sleep was veey disturbed. The new room was nice with a nice view but 50% of our trip was in a lesser room than we'd paid for. Nice breakfast, cant fault that. Good location Only a jacuzzi, no pool. No coffee in rooms. No shower jel, only soap. No shampoo. We were left feeling short changed. Hotel have let us down.

Summary: Hote Playa is right across the beach, which is great. But that's about all the good I can say about this hotel. The rooms have the bare minimum, 2 beds with paper thin mattresses, a night stand, and a small tv. The towels are old and almost see thru, some had even been ripped in two and sewn around the edges. The walls were extremely thin, and the conversations from adjacent rooms could be clearly heard. For the price, I would have expected a lot more.

Summary: Hotel was right across the street from the boardwalk and beach, so that was nice. The food was less than stellar and the rooms were very small. We didn't spend much time in our room, so it didn't bother us too much. It was clean and the staff was friendly, so no complaints there. The hotel doesn't offer beach towels, so be sure to bring your own. The beds were a little uncomfortable, but not to the point where I dreaded sleeping in them. Overall, you get what you pay for with this hotel. It is very average with no bells and whistles.

Summary: Although right on the beach and convenient in location, the hotel was rather run down compared to what was described and shown on the internet. However it was clean and the breakfast buffet was plentiful. Some staff were very helpful and with others you felt as if you were being a bit of a nuisance!

Summary: I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It wasn't the fanciest place I've ever been. But it was perfect for a place to relax and it was RIGHT on the beach. The thing that was absolutely great about this place is the staff was soooo helpfull and so nice to us. I highly recommend this hotel to others. I had a wonderful time and was very happy with the hotel it's self! The rooms were much bigger than most european hotels as well.

Summary: Hotel Playa or "Club Sun Playa" to give it it's full title, provided excellent service in all respects. The staff were always happy and helpful,the hotel was spotless,the rooms well maintained.Food was plentiful (although it could have been hotter)and varied. At this time of year(March) the resort is full of Spanish senior citizens on subsidised holidays but you get an insight into Spanish table games and dancing!!We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly return.

Summary: I had a first class visit , I was on the fourth floor spectacular views of the beach and all directions, The Sun Deck on the roof also affords great views, Food was good and bar service was also first class, and very quick even though the hotel was busy. I would recommend,you stay here.I will be going back to the Island with a combination of both business and Leisure at least four times next year and am looking forward to my visits.
