Positive: This property is so precious! There are many places in the garden to sit and relax: hammock swing chairs, pool loungers, and couches and chairs under umbrellas. There is a different breakfast menu each day and they are very generous in their portions. We had a deluxe bungalow and it was beautiful. The air conditioning is ICE COLD! The private patio had a swing chair and a small couch to relax on. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were supportive. There is also a laundry service that we took advantage of that was a super quick turnaround.

Negative: We came in the off season and the restaurant onsite happened to be closed during our stay. If breakfast was any indication of what dinner would be like, I'm sorry we missed out. This wasn't a huge issue though as there are plenty of delicious restaurants in town. The only other thing I didn't like was I didn't get to meet the two sloths who live on the property.

Positive: The location is great, just by the sea although we can’t swim cause there are no beaches. The staff was warm and explained us everything from the start. The restaurant is good. Very nice surroundings with a 🦥 in the tree! Free coffee in the afternoon which was great

Negative: Good variety of food during the breakfast although nothing spectacular. The restaurant is too expensive as everywhere in CR! The pool is not super clean (but that’s something very usual in Costa Rica)

Positive: Garden & pool facilities Breakfast was nice. We met a little sloth just hanging out on the barbwire fence of the hotel which was cute. Jonathan ‘of all trades’ is the best .. nice happy hour cocktails with a big smile

Negative: I was thinking long and intensive about this review but fellow traveler’s be aware money (AUS$ 250) was stolen out of my handbag. It was my complacency as my US$ in cash, passport and other stuff went into the provided safe. It was our last longer stay within a 4 weeks holiday. My handbag hidden behind cloth on top of the safe was stuffed with stuff. So someone must had a complete look through my handbag and to find that ‘cash’ .. the aussie $ was just as a ‘fall back money’ cos you usually can’t change easy AUS$ into US$ as our $ is to exotic for most banks or $changer.. (not in Asia or Bali of course .. lol) .. at least lesson learned and I will be definitely not so trusting anymore into the future. The irony is that my purse had two front pockets with zippers where I had AUS$50 each, which obviously wasn’t found ‘in a hurry’ .. anyway not a nice experience when someone goes through your personal stuff and money get stolen .. Karma Karma ..

Positive: Carefully maintained garden with small pools. Several animals in the garden: slothes, leaping lizzards, tucans, iguanas, crabs etc. Nice sandy beach is 3 minutes walking. Extremely nice staff, full breakfast. We also took a coral teef tour offered by the hotel, it was a great experience.

Negative: We took a wooden bungallow, the houses are close to each other, which limits a bit privacy, but not really distirbung.
