Summary: Cute little historic hotel in downtown Glenwood Springs. Walking distance to the hot springs, be sure to ask about a pass & towel at the hotel to bring. Water stations in the lobby, coffee shop in the building and the lobby is decorated nicely. The is an elevator, everyone I engaged was efficient, helpful and kind.

Summary: I would say this hotel is the best location for food and shops. The history of it is also really cool to learn about and experience with the decor and the overall look and feel. The Hot Springs Pool is right across the bridge also and is a convenient walk over there from the hotel. There is a Pub restaurant connected to it and also plenty of restaurants and shops right by it. We ate at Ming's Cafe 2 times because it was so good (I had the Orange Chicken) and it is next to shops. Allow time to get a table because all the shops and restaurants are close together. We also had Sweet Coloradough for breakfast, a 5 minute drive from the hotel which was a good experience and delicious! The Beds were really comfortable and room was clean. Parking is tight in the 2 parking lots but was nice having parking without having to search for parking. We parked in the North lot right around the corner from the hotel and seemed to do the job but really tight fyi.

Summary: The bed was so comfy, the hotel is gorgeous, the views are gorgeous we loved everything expect the rooms are tiny. However, that won’t keep us from coming back!

Summary: I recently stayed at the Hotel Maxwell Anderson while in town for a short visit, and I can’t say enough positive things about the experience. From the start, our first room was beautiful—modern, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The beds felt like clouds, and the pillows were absolutely perfect! Unexpectedly, a situation occurred that was completely beyond anyone’s control—a bath in the room above ours flooded. From the moment I called the front desk, the staff jumped into action. Iris answered the phone and immediately sent a maintenance team member to our room. Within minutes, he arrived—kind, professional, and even managed to bring some humor to a stressful situation. I wish I had caught his name because he absolutely deserves recognition. Right after maintenance left, a member of the housekeeping team arrived and thoroughly cleaned the bathroom—even the tub, which hadn’t been used. She worked quickly and efficiently, and I was impressed by her attention to detail, especially while I was on a call and unable to thank her properly. Later, we stopped by the front desk to purchase tickets to the adventure park and met Hayden, the manager. He recognized us right away and had already prepared some options to make up for the inconvenience—even though none of it was the hotel’s fault. Hayden not only upgraded our room but also provided complimentary tickets to the hot springs. His professionalism and sincere concern really stood out, and his efforts did not go unnoticed.

Summary: A very special boutique hotel steps away from restaurant row. Beautiful views from the Signature Room. The hotel lobby has so many historic pieces and is very well decorated. A great place to stay in Glenwood Springs!
