Summary: In general the hotel looked thread-bear and worn. It needs updating. Bathroom was tiny. Breakfast was very unremarkable for the cost. I would have done better somewhere else.

Summary: Very good hotel, very close to the city center the famous church and the supermarket. Very nice and helpful staff. Possibly to store the luggage for a week (which is extremely helpful if you are going to the Landmannalaugar trek). The water in the room sometimes has a sulfur smell. No free parking. 20 minutes walk from/to central bus station (BSI)

Summary: The room was not very clean, staff was not friendly or very helpful, and there is no shuttle to the airport (the reason I booked in the first place). Hardly a 3 star hotel, let alone 4 star.

Summary: It’s a moderately priced hotel in a very good location. The rooms are “basic”. Nothing fancy but perfectly serviceable. It has a very nice restaurant attached.
