Positive: The hotel staff were friendly and provided good customer service throughout our stay. Check-in was a unique experience—they brought us to a holding area on the 3rd floor where we were offered complimentary drinks and snacks, which was a nice touch. They also pointed out where we could get free coffee and tea at any time, which we appreciated. The hotel itself is clearly older, and that shows in its design and facilities. Still, it was clean and comfortable enough for our needs. Breakfast was decent, though my son and I have seafood allergies, so our options were limited. Thankfully, the rest of our family enjoyed the spread. Gift shops were great, friendly, and helpful folks! There is a man there that, if you ever watch John Wick, the movie, the desk clerk looks and speaks just like him, my son thinks he's the world. He was very professional and helpful in many ways. The restaurant on the 19th floor is a bit expensive, but it was a good experience. The Wagyu was amazing, my first time having it. Everything was explained for each dish, and the service was stunning! Overall, it was a pleasant experience with attentive staff, even if the property could use a bit of updating.
Negative: The hotel was decent overall, but a few things made our stay uncomfortable. We were charged an unexpected extra fee of 600 yen per day for our family of three, which wasn’t clearly mentioned during booking. When I asked, I was told it was “just a hotel fee” with no further explanation. Breakfast was also disappointing—no vegetarian options or accommodations for seafood allergies, which made it risky for my child and me. We skipped breakfast on our last day because it wasn’t worth the risk. Lastly, the floor that offered free tea and coffee was closed both times we tried to visit. These small inconveniences added up and made the experience less enjoyable than we’d hoped.

Positive: The location of the hotel was easy to navigate to. It was an a great neighbourhood and was close to many convenient stores and restaurants. The train station was only a 10 minutes walk away and that was one of the main reasons we chose this location.
Negative: The hotel pillows need to be cleaned or changed more often. The pillows we had had an odd scent to it, but used the flat sheet on the bed to cover so that we did not smell it through the night.
Summary: A comfortable stay perfected located, close to convenient stores and the local train station.

Positive: We stayed at Hotel Plaza Osaka from April 25 to April 30. The hotel is conveniently located near Osaka Station, making it easily accessible. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by Muniru and Mr. Park. We were comfortably seated in the Welcome Lounge and offered refreshing cold drinks while our check-in was finalized. Overall, the experience was delightful and incredibly relaxing. The breakfast provided a wonderful array of options, with the staff remaining attentive and accommodating. The beds were comfortable, and when we requested extra pillows, the response was prompt. The proximity of convenience stores such as Lawson, 7-Eleven, and Family Mart was particularly beneficial for our daughters, as it ensured that breakfast, snacks, and even occasional dinners were easily arranged. Mr. Park and Muniru maintained their attentive service from check-in to check-out, enhancing our stay. I highly recommend this hotel not only for its comfortable and spacious rooms—an uncommon find in Japan—but also for the outstanding service provided by the friendly staff. We look forward to visiting Osaka again and staying at this hotel in the future. Thank you.

Positive: The rooms are nice and spacious, and the city view is great as well. The hotel is large and has many staff members to help with anything. The bathrooms have great water pressure as well.
Negative: The location, although close to a train station, feels a little far from the action Osaka. The hotel is large but the amenities like pool and public bath had to be paid for which was unexpected. The bathrooms were a little small considering the rooms had a lot of space.
