Summary: Amazing staff, great neighbourhood, beautiful canal views. Highly recommend this hotel. Only caution would be for those with mobility issues, the staircase in the artist is a challenge.

Summary: I most enjoyed the atmosphere and theme of the hotel, a wonderful merge of partially intact 17th-century Amsterdam with playful post modern industrial chic. Wonderful staff, very welcoming.

Summary: Fab quirky small hotel. the staff are so lovely and made me feel so welcome. The room (Cartography) was spotless and had a great view of canal. Plenty of good choices for breakfast. Quiet location but handy for all the main attentions and plenty of restaurants. only 10 min walk from central train station. i would definitely recommend this hotel

Summary: Only spent 1 night at the craftsmen, but could easily stay there 1 month. It was amongst the most charming hotels I've ever visited, full of history and with the most friendly staff.
