Summary: I sometimes worry that my expectations for a trip are too high and that I will be disappointed. If you're having some of the same doubts about your "home" in Sete, let me assure you -- there is nothing to worry about here. Patrick and Jacqueline have created the most marvelous place imaginable. The pictures -- which are spectacular -- do not do it justice. The view is magnificent and every detail you could want has been considered. The apartment is extremely clean and the kitchen is well-appointed (even for people who want to cook every day); the bed is comfortable and the shower is great. All appliances work perfectly. Other reviews are correct when they speak of Patrick and Jacqueline as the perfect hosts; they could not have been more lovely to us. Patrick made it perfectly clear that we were to call him whenever we needed anything (including restaurant and day-trip advice) and we did -- he was always available, always gracious, and always able to provide great information. On his recommendations, we had an unforgettable day trip to Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert (medieval town with a breathtaking sight at every turn) and a fabulous meal in the nearby town of Marseillan (at La Table D'Emilie). We had a car, but will most likely come without one next time; the bus connections are good for people who like to have a splendid afternoon meal, then come back to sit by the pool and stare at the gorgeous Mediterranean. (And yes, there will definitely be a "next time"!) Go. Enjoy. And give Patrick and Jacqueline our best!

Summary: + Very nice location with a beautiful vieuw. Very kind and helpfull landlords Beautiful accommodation - Rather difficult access to location Premisses are very clean on arrival but never cleaned during the stay, even when you stay two weeks.

Summary: Très Agréable ! We enjoyed our stay at the apartment, which was well-equipped and very well-maintained. The apartment enjoyed a good view of the Mediterranean and we liked the garden. The owners were friendly, helpful when needed, and not intrusive. We deliberately did not hire a car and relied on public transport. There were nearby bus-stops for the apartment on the Hôtel de Ville/La Vigie bus route in/out of Sete town centre. The Sete local bus service (Thau Agglo Transport) was good/modern/inexpensive, but it operated only until late afternoon in the Mont St. Clair locality and ideally could do with an occasional evening service - though taxis are an alternative. The 'Carte Thermalis' bus pass provided unlimited access to all of the Thau Agglo Transport routes for 21 days, and was good value (17 Euros/person). We regularly used the supermarket by the town centre canal on Quai de la Résistance (near Passage le Dauphin bus stop), and the return bus journey to the apartment departed from the nearby Hôtel de Ville stop on Rue Paul Valéry. There are many restaurants in Sete, and those which we enjoyed most were: Le Paris-Mediterranée (Rue Sémard), La Palangrotte (Rampe Paul-Valéry), and, Restaurant l’Oranger (Rue Pierre Brossolette). Sete was a good base for visits to other places, which for us included: Agde, Beziers, Montpellier (all by train), and Balaruc-les-Bains (bus).
